Just for WooWoo DETECTIVE COMICS #8 $18,000 OCT 1937; CGC 8.0 (2nd highest graded). This book is one of the first 250 or so comics ever published, and pre-dated Action #1 by eight months. A classic Creig Flessel cover featuring Mister Chang, with a sinister grin on his face. This copy is in remarkable condition, with no single major defect to be found. A very rare book indeed with the Gerber Photo Journal giving it a 7 on their scarcity scale. It's estimated that less than 50 copies exist today. Flessel and Joe Shuster art.
