It's also scarcer and a totally different character. One that only appeared in a few issues. I happen to like the book, but I think that people would recognize Barbara Gordon more often than Betty Kane.

What I am starting to see is that the same people who can't provide a back cover scan on a $1k+ book, can't write out their "rules". At least some of the people who can't bother. Anyone else notice a pattern? Some of these are very nice people, but I don't know if the forum is not worthy of the time it takes, or it's something else.

I'd agree with the 3.0. You have holes on the spine, a 1" ? tear on the back (lower left, or is that an indentation? ) , multiple pieces missing at the top. I think if that upper right corner is pressed out "MEBBE" a 3.5. I'm not sure it would improve the grade. You should ask Joey Post. I wish i could write like "Catrick";) it sounds better coming from him.

We finished tonight, too. It was interesting to see Playland since I lived about 10 minutes away from there for many years. We enjoyed it a lot.

Sorry, all my lower number books are slabbed now and I can't page though them. Sensation 6 is a much tougher issue than the 5, though.

When I first started seriously collecting GA (well, as seriously as I could afford at the time), I was looking for Batman/Superman books. A friend told me to look for Wonder Woman instead. He said they were much cheaper in comparison and much scarcer. They had a long way to go to reach the prices of the other two series, forget about Timelys, just the DCs. I think they still have a way to go. I don't see prices falling, but I DO see more available than there used to be. I guess the movie woke people up. The only data I can use is my own collection. This is the only series I'm always trying to upgrade and it's been getting steadily harder, especially over the past year. I don't really see a drop. I've gotten outbid on a lot of books even when I put in bids that would have easily won last year.

Is Luke Cage Ned Nickerson? Nancy Drew was a teenage detective who was unconventional for her time. She didn't really do anything that would wow anyone in my generation, maybe my mother's. I see Jessica as a screwed up smart woman who is strong enough not to have to take along a guy to do the heavy work while she is investigating. That's kind of neat from my perspective. The violence, not so much, but she is trying to temper it a bit later on. It's Patsy who is really evolving.

I think of these as one REALLY long movie... I'd try to watch in 1 or 2 days if my partner would let me, lol;) We have different ideas about sleep;) and they shouldn't post these during tax season;)

I was reading the recaps in Bleeding Cool of what I've seen so far. The reviewer also thinks that this is an even better season so far. I would have watched a few more last night, but my husband wanted to go to sleep and he didn't want to miss them. I think the character development is better. I liked Tennent last season, but the Purple man was kind of overwhelming to me.

No, lol...as a matter of personal pride, I have always worked, always paid my own bills, esp comics. EXCEPT when there is a discount shopping emergency (like yesterday) or it's a present thingy;)
