aside from high demand/low supply, what else drives prices higher in comics industry? good economy is the only one I can think of.

it looks like we are back at 2019 pricing roughly. as long as it doesnt go lower.

I tried the free GPA just now - it seems to go back only to 2022 avg, unless with paid version you can go further. ebay surprisingly goes back 3 years. its crazy, a slabbed 7.5 ASM 101 went on avg for $1200 in 2021 (ebay), and now 2024 its at $400... 1/3 the price!

what is a good website to see the historic sales of a particular issue? For example if I want to know what FF48 in FN sold for on average in 2020, 2021, etc. The sales could be based on slabs or raw, doesnt matter.

Im curious about just walking into an abandoned property. Based on a quick google search you still need permission from someone to enter. Assuming the mortgage was paid in full, somebody must be paying the taxes. And if nobody pays the taxes doesnt it go to the gov't or something? any insights?

I just finished reading Les Daniels Five Fabulous Decades of Marvel. I may do a review of it on a separate post. The book covers Marvel History from 1939-1989. I was wondering if there is a similar book (with illustrations, not just text) on Marvel from 1990 into the 2000s?

This just dawned on me today. The modern age is now at a 30 year point. Is there an end in sight? what comes next? Also...Until now the Age's were in Metal value order [Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper] It seems the next Age should have been Brass Age, then maybe Aluminum Age, then Iron Age etc.. These things keep me up at night.

do i need a subscription to view the gpa graphs? ive never used the site..

Forgive me if there is a discussion on this already, you can just point me to it if there is... Ive been selling books since 2018 and correct me if Im wrong, but Im seeing a downward trend in prices especially on major keys. I just did comps on FF 48 49 50 from last year to this year and there is a significant decrease in overall value. Great for the buyer, not so great for the seller. Any thoughts on why this is happening? And will this continue into 2023?
