  1. I systematically leave feedback but I do it manually. Every 2 or 3 weeks I check my shipped listings and anything that shows it was delivered I leave a positive feedback. BUT I leave the last 7 days unchecked. So if its June 30th , I only leave feedback from items delivered until June 23rd. I do this to give the buyer time to open the package, inspect it and leave me feedback if they want to. I dont leave feedback for complainers (not that I get many). And any unrealistic or annoying or (fill in blank) buyers, I put them on my block list so they can never buy from me again.
  2. I have not downloaded the app so pardon my question if it is obvious... is there a way to search "sold" history on the app? this way i can gauge how to price a book if I decide to sell..
  3. @MySlabs I would like to see titles under each image. Right now you only show the price so i need to click on every image to see what it is. Some comics are obviously recognizable, but some aren't, especially for newer collectors. Just a simple title is enough like "Spider-man 129 CGC 9.0"
  4. Flipping will depend on the $$ you invest as well. For me CBCS makes more financial sense as a flipper. My boys have made it clear to me that they have no interest in my books..lol, so as I buy them, I sell them. Its strictly a side hustle that I enjoy immensely.
  5. There is a scribble on cover. Does anybody know of that's a signature or just someone's doodling.?
  6. not at all - remember for CGC modern is 1975 and after, not 1992 and after.
  7. im going through this dilemma now. I have some books that i want to slab. If there is no difference in the service then its dollars and sense and time (and time is money). For example Modern (1975+) books CGC - Express $120 current wait times 11 days CBCS - $40 - 2 day service I mean this is a no brainer. Granted the prestige of a CGC book overshadows CBCS and that may or may not be something you want to factor in when its an $80 difference and you multiply that by a few books.
  8. my pleasure. Do you think that note inside from Comico makes it any more rare? It is binded into the book itself.
  9. Primer 2 - this book is still on fire. Not sure what Im going to with this one yet. I have not spotted one flaw on this, but Im sure you guys will. I barely had the nerves to take images of it, I didnt want to mishandle it. So here it is.. Note - There is a note on the splash page which you will see a white block. I carefully took a pic of it. This issue seems to be some kind of quiz show prize for the original owner that I got it from. I only took a picture of the note once, so I filled in the missing words in parenthesis based on what i thought was missing. This is what the note says: Congratulations for being a prize (winner of) The Comic Book Quiz Show. We hope you (enjoy this) Comico comic and take the time to write (back and) let us know your opinion. If you cant (find) Comico comics in your local comic book (shop, do us a ) favor and bug them to death till they (stock) our books, your effort will be rewarded (with the) best new comics that youll find anywhere.
  10. i think its a great idea. maybe they could just create a facebook group for selling and buying? you have a link to that chat?
  11. not sure what to say, my ebay page doesnt even have the check off boxes like yours. I think they are still tinkering with it. Now when i click golden age it takes me to the " we looked everywhere" page.
  12. wait thats ebid, my complaint was about EBay. LOL. Miscommunication. try doing the same thing on ebay. thats where the issue is, thats why Im looking for other venues.
  13. Try clicking on one of those categories on the left side..do you see comic books for sale on the next page? I didnt. When I click golden age, I got a page telling me about the history of golden age comics. let me know.
  14. there are no more comic book categories, basically making it impossible for a seasoned and unseasoned comic book collector to navigate and find comic books by era or genre.
  15. With the whole ebay fiasco going on now, I am looking to other places to list my books. I know there is an "Alternatives to eBay" thread but I wanted to specifically focus on ebid.net. Have any of you sellers had luck on ebid.net?
  16. what do you do about older comics that have no bar code?
  17. Ive thought about it but my collection is always transient. I buy and sell so Im not sure if its worth my time and effort to catalog.
