  1. Picked up a modern collection of Signed stuff and I havent the slightest clue about these two since Im mostly a SA and BA collector. #1 the B&W print. signed by Les Devis? #2 Revelations #1 - I have 2 copies with several different signatures and drawings on the back. This one I actually found a sales history on but without the signatures. Do these signatures bring any value to these copies?
  2. Im actually considering a shopify site with an ebay integration as an option. will cost me about $70-80 a month for both But it may be worth it. Im doing the volume and Im constantly buying, so I have tons of books.
  3. sounds like its better for books $70 and up then the 10% makes sense. I looked into it a while back and it didnt make sense to me.
  4. I dont have to send my comics? really? so its like a 3rd party drop-ship model? or am i getting it wrong..
  5. yes im familiar - i found it to be a lot of back and forth messaging. im looking for a more tradition marketplace with a checkout cart, order management, like amazon, etsy, overstock, etc.
  6. Its been a while since I posted so forgive me if this has been discussed. For the last couple of years Ive been putting all my eggs in one basket by selling comics on eBay only. Id like to get some insight on other sites or marketplaces that are conducive to selling comics. Any help appreciated.
  7. I know this doesnt belong here, so just a quick yes or no, and if you know of a forum that'll PGM my baseball cards, would be appreciated.
  8. Detective Comics 359 - center page detached. Please grade as is. *separate question, is there a CGC service that will staple / repair this?
  9. Has anyone seen a spike in ebay sales in the last few days? I sure did. I basically sold a weekends worth on a Thursday..
  10. Sellers - have any of you used "crazylister.com" for your ebay store and any other marketplaces? If so, any pros and cons you can share would be great. I list about 50 books a week and its quite tedious doing one by one. Plus I would like to list some books on Amazon and maybe a few other marketplaces..TIA

  12. Thrilled to say that this is being shipped back from CGC headquarters to me as a 1.5 !!
  13. This sounds like a revenue maker and something to make their grading process more efficient, which is fine. I just dont understand the pricing, it is totally out of whack. If this really makes their process more efficient and quick then it is already generating profit and theres no reason to charge $15 for the smal kit.. The price should be their cost. Id estimate this whole package to cost them $5.00. Even I would pay the $5.00, but $15 no way.
  14. Thanks for your replies - I sent it in to get slabbed in the end as I have a credit with CGC and based on previous ebay sales on 1.0's Im hoping to fetch closer to 700-750. Will see how it comes back.
  15. sending it in to get slabbed - lets see how it comes back. will post results..
  16. Well I never thought my first Hulk 181 would be in such lousy condition, but considering it was wedged between a stack that I randomly purchased the other day, I shouldnt complain. Please grade: The major defects torn cover first few pages have a 1.5 - 2 inch tear at bottom. Starting from page 7 they are all good. Staples rusty on outside but suprisingly very nice on inside. The pics tell the rest. I plan to send to CGC at some point if it is worth it.

  18. i may be putting it up for sale on either ebay or the forum here. havent decided yet.
  19. Totally forgot about him. Yup only weekends though. It's a chaotic maze of comics!
  20. @poorcollector If you venture out to Brooklyn there are 2 interesting places. Pinocchio - its on McDonald Ave right off the F train. Google it for their #. Get their hours. Its an old couple running the shop, and its your last chance to see what the old school comic shops look like. You can bargain with them within reason. ie A few $5 books for $3-3.5 each etc. And the owner woman will talk your head off about the old days. E&H Boutique - again google it. The have dollar bins of a whole mix of comics, some cool stuff if you spend the time. They also have posters , games, and lots of other collectibles. Also a friendly, talkative staff. Have fun!
  21. I dont anyone is saying that, Buyers are actually THE BEST because without them there's no business. Its the approach to how to resolve an issue that some buyers have that is an issue. And although it seems like many, its actually very very few that do, but the ones that do complain - oh boy - they go ballistic.
