Class act! Kudos to you for this post. I don't have a single thing to do with your business, but thought this was a good move. As someone who has spent over 4 months in hospital last year, I know how much it can affect EVERY aspect of your life. We sometimes take for granted the little things. When a rather large challenge confronts us, it really puts life into perspective. It did for me at least! I am glad 2008 is over with! I look forward to a healthy, happy and hospital free 2009! All the best in your recovery. Hopefully the parties involved will agree with my feelings on this post. John

I'd like to THANK Brian (OldGuy), for sending me volumes 1 - 3 of The Walking Dead.It has been rather hard being in hospital environment for the last month and a bit. When the package arrived, my spirits were immediately lifted! It is great to know that there are good people out there! I have never met, nor really spoken with Brian, but he went out of his way to do this for me. I appreciate it and it will not be forgotten! Well, the painting is done! Sorry for the crappy pic. The computers here don't want to cooperate! The light in hospital room isn't the best either... I am really happy with it and will display it proudly in my comic room. Measures 24 x 36!

Been here in rehab (physical!!!) for the last 3 weeks. There is an artist here who is doing a 36 x 24 oil chararacature (sp?) of my dad and I. I am super stoked! The plan is to have "The Comic Guys" splashed across the back, with dad and I holding comics in front of stacks. Really looking forward to the finished product. He did a preliminary and it looked pretty cool Once done, it will be proudly hung in my "new" comic room (once the move is done). I will try to upload photos from cell once done. Keep those rooms coming folks! Nice to see the thread alive. John

There have been major developments in my life over the past while and things may be changing again soon. Nick - I see you are in Niagra Falls. What is it like there for humidity and the like? Do you have to take any special measures to ensure no moisture/dampness? Also, what is that region like for work these days? I was there a couple of years ago and everything seemed to be centred around the casino industry. How do you think an IT Management Consultant would fare? Do you notice lots of ads for tech support guys? Curious, as I like the region and it is close to the border, something that I NEED! Thanks! ~G
