  1. Thanks Rich! I am glad you are happy with the book... sure it's beat, but it's a nice read! And after all, isn't that what it is all about??? Kudos right back at ya for the quick payment. John (thumbs u
  2. No sweat bro... good luck with the problem! John
  3. Thanks! I'll give it a couple of days before calling. Long distance cost of the call makes me BTW if anyone has his address would appreciate a PM. Maybe you sent him a check or maybe his address was on the box of some comics you bought from him. Just in case i need go down the legal road again Hey Matt, If you need it, I can give you a local (to you) phone number to call me. We can then 3-way to this character... doh!sounds kinda dirty, but it will get the job done! LMK, John (thumbs u
  4. Thank you for the quick payment! I hope you are pleased with the book. I will keep an eye open for more 'chute covers. John (thumbs u
  5. As mentioned, cost would be a little high for moderns. I have been noticing "gems" as well... I am looking forward to having my father out on the 6th. He's coming out for 2+ weeks to help me with the books. We are going to be making daily trips to storage. I hope to catalog 50 boxes while he is here... that's the plan anyways! In the meantime; I need to focus on my personal collecting goals. Sure it's nice to havwe 1000's upon 1000's of books, but I need to thin it down. Keep what I want and flog the rest! That'll free up space/dollars for new collections! Another goal I have is to get one of my many web domains operational. THAT is a huge job in itself! But, once the cataloging is done, things will be a lot easier. The never ending cycle... no new rooms from anyone as of late? There have been quite a few new posters... where's the goods??? John (thumbs u
  6. The story of my life! It's a looooooong story too! Keep us posted. John (thumbs u

  11. Not exactly true. The initial delay was because when you made payment via paypal, you didn't specify which books you had purchased in the paypal description like I had asked. Anyways, I apologize for the additional delay. Your books are on their way as of yesterday and should be there tomorrow or Thursday. Brent That was easy! Wasn't it? Good job! John

  23. Bookcase looks nice! With regards to taking it slow; I hear ya! I have started to catalogue everything in my ComicBase program. It will take the better part of a year, but it will be done! I just finished one collection of books I had purchased. They were all cared for nicely, so there was no need to change the bags. I signed up as a wholesaler with a local supplier of bags/boards here in town, so my supoplies are cheap! They also carry the drawer style boxes (for closets) which can come in handy for the "hidden" stuff. I gotta say; I was away from this hobby for 10+ years... I couldn't be happier to be back! Keep us posted on your set-up. John
  24. I wasn't able to find the one on-line. I have seen it in store though. They did have this one though... COSTCO shelving It is 60" wide, so you may be able to fit 5 across... not 100% on that though.
