As a seller I would never have a sale thread that went hundreds of pages. Seems very unwieldy to me. I'd stop one thread and start up again in a new thread. However.... That's a personal choice and if someone else wants to have a sales thread that long and they're comfortable with it, I have no beef with that. We certainly don't need to start limiting sales page counts. This place is effed up enough as it is without instituting such arbitrary rules.

Why even bother? The story’s told, can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. My understanding is that the TV story is told but the book story could be different. However, as you say why even bother finishing the books at this point?

When Image started it was basically pretty ('pretty' being very subjective) pictures, with bold colors on slick paper. Most of the comics themselves sucked though and people ate it UP! So the idea that art is driving the way comics are produced is not a stretch at all to me.

The boards today are what they are. I was going to go on a long diatribe about everything wrong with this place but that would only make me look like angry Abe Simpson Plus, I realized that I don't really give a F anymore.
