There's nothing better than a good redemption story but it's going to take a lot more than this before we should ever think about removing Chip from the HOS list. His transgressions were not a one and/or two time thing. There is a pattern of behavior here that goes back decades. If he has truly changed, I applaud that but it doesn't erase his past.

As someone who has been here a very long time and has seen many sales threads, one reason why no interest is shown when a seller puts books up is because they have them priced too high. I don't know if that's the case here as I don't have GPA access but might be something to look into.

Not a shop but there's a local semi-monthly show close to me that I go to frequently. Back around 2013/14 I was doing some box diving (get your mind out of the gutter pervert ) and I unexpectedly came across one copy of the book shown below. A few months later, at the same show, I found another copy. I figure that used up my comic luck for the rest of my life. Given how much this book goes for and the fact that it doesn't show up too often I never expected to be able to buy even one copy at an affordable price, never mind two

The early Doom games had great music. Metroid for NES had really cool and atmospheric music but I think my favorite is from the NES game, Solstice. Prog rock in 8-bit form!

I'm more freaking out that the customer service rep told me via email they couldn't do anything and it happened during shipping to them I had no idea that CGC was hiring clairvoyants to handle customer service.

In all honesty, even though they’re a bit sloppy at what they do, they still get the job done. We should be holding these companies accountable to a higher standard instead of accepting an okay job and continuing to enable and rationalize sloppy work.

Why stop there? Let's have "Cameo or Brief First Death " and then "Full Appearance First Death" because [sarcasm] that approach sure hasn't led to controversy amongst collectors when it comes to character first appearances. [/sarcasm] Then we have First Resurrection (brief/cameo, full) Then Second Death (brief/cameo, full) I think I'm on to something here. Either that or I'm having an aneurysm.

I love this thread. I can't imagine trying to put together a HG run of these books. So nice to see it's still being pursued.
