    I love Gold Keys but mainly for reading. There's a lot to dig into. Sure, the art sometimes isn't great but you can say that for many Marvel And DC artists of the time as well. In many cases though, the painted covers are far classier than most of what the big two were putting out at the time

    Yeah, Toddy Mac was a phenomenom at the time. These days I can barely look at his work.

    Good lord. I have books in that I don't expect to see until early next year. I tell myself that's okay because they will have increased in value while waiting. Maybe. Wait until they charge you for increased shipping costs months after you received the books. The gravy train keeps chuggin' along and the addicts keep jonesing for their next fix.

    Do we really "need" anything? It's just comic books. If you don't like the war report then don't read it. On the other hand, questioning that the 50th anniversary issue should have been more of an extravaganza celebrating 50 years? Yeah, I'd say there's a valid argument there. Releasing a second book celebrating 50 years is a cash grab, nothing else.
