  1. Well, it must be one or the other since you've done it multiple times now. Ever seen a mirror? You are the embodiment of exactly what is wrong with the hobby and market right now. You not only believe any stupid thing claimed by any random clown, you also spread it without making sure it's accurate.
  2. Oh, we don't have those on this board. Seriously though, comic collectors want the first appearance in a comic book or comic magazine. It makes no difference that Harley Quinn first appeared outside of comics or that Scooby Doo did as well. Comic collectors want the first comic appearance thus the higher value of the comic.
  3. You presume a lot, and you have an attitude. You'll do well here.
  4. I just reported about ten of his fakes as counterfeit. I wonder what Marvel and DC would think about it. I just sent Marvel an email >> https://www.marvel.com/help/category/11/topic/29#:~:text=If you are aware or,claim can be investigated properly. Still looking for a way to inform DC.
  5. That's so lazy! I grade in my underwear every day. Unfortunately, my YouTube grading tutorials don't seem to be very popular for some reason. I can't figure it out. ELAINE: Oh my! KRAMER: What? ELAINE: I'm not sure but... I think I see your...
  6. But seriously, there's a Yellow Hulk? How many designer colors does the Hulk come in these days?
  7. We've seen inconsistencies like this before. CGC is not an expert in first apps and in cases where there is dispute they should be taken with a grain of salt.
  8. Normally I abhor retcons but in the case of the 1st app of the Unknown Solider, I don't have a problem with it. I still do need a copy of SSWS 151 though. Love that cover so much more than OAAW 168
  9. You're not gonna take that are you? Up your bid. Mannup! Buy the best!
  10. So what you're saying is there's still a chance that X-Factor #1 could blow up?! Only if you wrap it around a stick of dynamite
  11. Here's an example. Occasionally, people would start a sales thread at say 1pm with no books posted for sale and then say something to the effect of books will be posted starting at 8pm. This annoyed some boardies because it was like hyping your sales thread without actually selling anything. The Announcements thread was started as a way to curb this. Use the announcement thread to declare what you would be selling instead of starting what amounted to a delayed sales thread in the selling forum thus taking up front page space with nothing. This happened quite a bit in the 'old days' and still does occur. Then, some Einstein decided that a way to game/manipulate the system was to start one of these threads and post a single book for sale stating that the rest of the books would be posted later.
  12. It would be if there was a rule. But there isn't. I got hit by the same thing a couple of months ago. And it's not consistently applied. Yes, there is no specific rule but #6 could apply And then there's this >> https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/78739-usage-guidelines-read-before-posting/?tab=comments#comment-10182419 I know in that thread Arch is talking about manipulation through bumping and hiding but he still does mention "Please do not try to be "clever" to find a way to post a single book so you can make an "announcement" that isn't an announcement, ...."
  13. Well, that's kind of gaming/manipulating the rules.
  14. I can’t keep track of all these name changes.... Who are you? Stu
  15. Pretty much, and the addicts keep ponying up to get their next fix and then complain that fast track isn't fast enough.
  16. And people still ponied up their money? Who the hell buys sight unseen? Now I see Domo's screenshot above about 9am. This comic shop is run by insufficiently_thoughtful_persons but all the people who showed up books in hand not knowing the cost and and then still buying into this once they knew the price are also insufficiently_thoughtful_persons
  17. Or he did that because when it's spelled correctly it gets zapped by the language filter.
