  1. I have a 92 & 98 both cents, don't have a 94 at all My 92, 94 and 98 are also cents. Think we’re seeing a pattern here.
  2. Posted my earlier issues previously somewhere but thought opportunity to do so again;
  3. Are these jigsaws or images with a jigsaw effect? I notice every piece is exactly the same shape.
  4. As well as postcards and posters, in 1971 Third Eye also issued 6 Marvel jigsaws. This won’t be the oldest jigsaw in this thread, it probably won’t be the scarcest and it possibly won’t be the most expensive but it will be (and being a BWS fan I’m biased here) the best; I’ve only got a small black light torch so can’t show in it’s full glory;
  5. Have just completed this one - will post it tomorrow when have daylight to photograph it.
  6. https://boards.cgccomics.com/topic/498309-comic-related-jigsaw-club/ Fairly new thread in Comics General
  7. I should have some free time next week, if I can I’ll show a Third Eye puzzle, however they are 500+ tiny pieces and take hours/days to do. Hopefully I have one which I broke up in sections rather than individual pieces. They are great images when complete.
  8. This is the other one I have. Think it’s safe to say not by one of Marvel’s artists; (prompted me to look on eBay for the FF jigsaw, couple for sale but $300).
  9. Just posted this in jigsaw thread, sort of fits here as well; Milton Bradley released a series of three Marvel jigsaws in 1967. Quite scarce now and getting more expensive which is unfortunate as I still need the Fantastic Four one. I don’t think the artist has ever been identified;
  10. Milton Bradley released a series of three Marvel jigsaws in 1967. Quite scarce now and getting more expensive which is unfortunate as I still need the Fantastic Four one. I don’t think the artist has ever been identified;
  11. I’m responsible for this one, bought as NM many years ago. I’m a Laurel & Hardy fan and have had this on display for years, you can see the dividing red line where it has been partially tucked behind something else.
  12. Will it dissuade people from collecting if some issues and therefore a full set is prohibitively expensive? Even when I started collecting a complete batman or Superman collection was out of reach but people still collect the main titles - or would even more people collect if they thought they could complete?
  13. Was affordable during the Bronze Age (and copper) but not so much now.
  14. In addition to posters and cards Third Eye also produced Marvel jigsaws. Unfortunately I don’t have them all but here’s two Jack ones I do have;
  15. Released in 1970 by Marvelmania fan club as a “tribute” to Jack, bit rich has they ripped him off by not paying for a lot of the work he did.
  16. Thanks for heads up, will be purchasing this. Just one slight correction, this isn’t all of them, this set is 12 posters out of 24 originals.
  17. I understand the painted coloured versions were sold in blister packs of two characters and are much rarer than the solid one colour ones. The painting looks really well done.
  18. I noticed that the “7p” moved left or tight in alignment with the price blackout, suggesting that both were done together with a single stamp - manual or automated. Not sure it’s of any interest though.
  19. Not as rare as the Marx figure shown previous by @Subby1938 but here’s a Sub-mariner figure by Brazilian (I believe) company Gulliver;
  20. Don’t want to side track this thread away from Subby, but I’m a fan of MMMS and Marvelmania memorabilia however being in UK it’s extremely rare and I have no first hand knowledge of it; my understanding was the silver Marx set was the 1970 re-issue for Marvelmania fan club - is there another silver set/thor? Subby figure is super cool.
  21. I didn’t know about the XXs until you pointed it out in this thread a few months ago, it adds a bit of fun looking for them. I still have it in mind to make a note of all the “backgrounds by Mortellaro”I’ve started re-reading essential Spider-Man so when I get to the Romita issues I’ll grab a pen and paper.
