  1. don't tell me this board is becoming "Survivor". I only EVER watched a few episodes of that show when it first came out and lost faith in humanity. Not again.... The people nominated for the HoS have done bad things. This isn't a case of just not liking someone and deciding they should be nominated. If that were true at least 25% of the board would've been nominated by now I completely understand that, but it seems like the boards (and most boards I've been to) have their factions, except when it comes to selling. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

  3. And vying your differences on a public forum is just....bad. Period. What does "vying your differences" mean? http://www.thefreedictionary.com/vying I R GOOGLE I know what vying means, but not "vying your differences." I would guess he meant "airing your differences." Ah, arguing? Arguing on a chat board is just...bad. Period? Lois: "I thought it was an awkward turn of phrase" Peter:" how do you turn a phrase?" Lois: "how do yo--- GOD your you're DUMB, thank god for that " FTFY Also, I can't figure out if you're arguing with me, or actually trying to make yourself understood. Whats FTFY?
  4. Thanks Ebel, they all are except Tick #2. And the other one is a green label so I guess that doesn't count, even though there are 27 signatures on it

  8. I love that you somehow translated that original post and knew what he was saying. This response was shockingly on point I +1 this advice. It took me much longer than one post to catch up though. I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm Dude, pull up a chair...
  9. That is really, really cool (thumbs u
  10. There are too many Nice display I know...only room for one more, then I have to stop collecting
  11. Was it blank, was it really blank? Unless cntrl-a has let me down....yes...yes it was
  12. I'm sorry you paid $350 for a raw 6.0 IM 55. That is a CGC board 6.0. That is an Ebay 9.0 (thumbs u +1 My fingers are still sore from being burnt on eBay so many times...
  13. This. When I see "He needs to go on the PL because he hasn't responded to my PM in 72 hours." That is freaking ridiculous. And I am someone who has full sympathy for those who are feeling frustrated. The 72 hours isn't the sum total of his delays and non-responses. It's the culmination of months and months of problems. The 72 hours was the time from the PM informing him of the PL discussion and giving him the mandated time to respond to the allegations and issues before a decision is made. Chris, You are a long-time Boardie and I understand your point and I respect you but at the risk of advocating reason to the pitch-fork wielding mob, I respectfully disagree. Perhaps my beliefs are no longer the social norm but I don't expect somebody to check their emails every 72 hours. I can understand somebody who has only been on the boards a year not fully understanding the context of the probation list and the Hall of Shame. This is where we put the crooks, not the guys who don't meet our expectations for communication or customer service. That is what the feedback forums are for. The idea that this went to a HOS vote is ridiculous and represents the worst of these boards in my opinion. That isn't a shot at you Chris. Well I agree with the sentiment of having only positive "kudos", where exactly (besides here) can people place a complaint that is easily seen and understood? This thread has over 2000 pages now. Slogging through forums and messing with searches to find those few useful nuggets that are informative is quite taxing to someone computer literate, let alone someone who is not so much. Or someone who has never been part of a forum...
  14. That resides in Comics General. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6946559#Post6946559 -slym Yeah...I thought this was an exclusive list of who not to sell to Guess it could be a general eBay list...
  15. I second a nomination for BLB to be put on the HOS permanently. Also a honorable mention in a new thread stating who not to buy from on eBay would be a good idea....have a list of a few already
  16. I picked a great time to get back into collecting.... Seriously, I am weirded out here.
