    The first picture in the bag is the pressed book at my presser's (in NY). The second post are the original pics from the book as found here (in Japan). Since I don't have the book in my hands, I'm posting what I have.

    I also would argue that the two manga contributions (#40,41) would not be as "influential" as Lone Wolf and Cub from the 1970s and Astro Boy from the 1960s (and perhaps later on One Piece / Naruto / Dragon Ball).

    This book was found in Japan a couple years ago. It has some Japanese translations in the margins of the splash and next page (but not through the whole book). It would not be a far stretch to imagine a young Japanese student learning English while pouring over the pages of Archie in the 1950s post-war Japan. The book has been pressed and currently at my presser's in NY. He thinks it could be a 4.5 grade with off-white pages which could swing up/down either way. Book is complete and unrestored with a little rust on the staple. Recent CGC Heritage sales: 3.5 was $1440, and a 4.5 was $2040 My ask for this book: $1895 shipped
