  1. Did the Twin Cities collection have 2 7's? 9.6 and 9.8? Looking at the scans they appear to be different , not a CPR book. Quite the collection he is selling this month
  2. As well as the torn piece off the back cover
  3. There is NO ASM 11 , I repeat listen to my soothing voice, there is no ASM 11. Look away!!
  4. Have it removed and resub for a 9.6 or higher, seems that CGC is fine with said removal as is apparent on several CPR candidates as of just recently
  5. I suppose they could just talk about the same book over and over again ................
  6. As I previously stated its a VF, Makes me even crazier I missed it...But sound like regardless of what I bid I wouldn't have snagged it anyway.hmmmmm, not sure if that makes me feel better or not..:0
  7. I knew this book would bump , it was a steal at this price as well.
  8. I have had it for for awhile, before all the hype . I would guess with all the movie hype some spikes have happened? I don't keep up with the speculation market very much, but it seems to me that many bronze keys are at an all time high. Perhaps this would be a good time to upgrade a few more of my SA with them. Although I am not very good at parting with anything :P
  9. When did this book become a 4k book in 9.0? Did I blink? What is it selling for in 9.8? On an unrelated note here is my ticket
  10. Looks like a 6.0 to me , I am not a fan of MC either but seems about right for the grade. I don't think 48-50k would be unreasonable for this copy.
  11. Looks like the same Brian had a pretty nice AF15, kid had great taste :P That 2 looks very sharp for a 6.5 to say the least
  12. And if a boardie offered you 30K each? In all seriousness I would hold onto both copies if they do not have any chipping. Makes me wonder how many inquiries are made on these threads though for those posting their latest acquisitions.
  13. It will be easier to sell the 3.0's later down the road, lower graded copies are quickly becoming many collectors only chance at having one. Depending on the eye appeal I think you would get more out of them then the 5.0-5.5 that you could purchase with the flip and added cash now in my opinion.
  14. What a beauty! https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=829052 The latest auction is ridiculous Too bad no time payment options or organ donation features
  15. Seems to me you had a spectacular FF run back in the day, was this one of your books? Or were you in the sweet 9.2 range like your AF15?
  16. 3.5 -4.0 Water stain hurts you more then the chipping , ASM 4'S are plagued with it
  17. That crease on the back cover would press right out, as well as the top edge, as far as the spine goes looks VF to me . I was really upset I was driving and got sniped on this one
  18. Well its not his book, I have purchased several unpressed books from him throughout that years that upgraded. Lately a nice ASM 14 9.4 that pressed into a 9.6
  19. Sad thing is that is a VF book with a PRESS, but getting outbid the way I did I stopped and would have paid well over 100k
  20. I was the underbidder and it got snaked out from me, seemed suspicious . When you say bid it up is that a practice from him. I have purchased some big books from him throughout the years outright but never on auction and it seemed that no matter how high I went on many I was always getting hit. That is the nature of high grade ASM'S however I have never been outbid this many times paying multiples of multiples ...soft market NOT so sure anymore
  21. Comic Connect bringing out the big guns I wonder what this will bring https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=723368
