  1. Crack her out and let's take a peek at the innards My raw copy is sitting on my to-read shelf. I'll post some pictures of the innards in the next few days. There's lots and lots of GGA goodness in this issue.
  2. 'Tec #38. Despite all the Robin hating that goes on around here, I think his origin story in that book is one of the better early Batman stories.
  3. Wow! Who is Ka'a'anga's voluptuous girl friend? That's not Tiger Girl, is it? I don't think we've ever been introduced. Jack Ann Mason Tiger Girl starred in Fight Comics.
  4. Here's my Wondercon purchases: I now have two Jumbo 66s. I didn't realize for some reason I already had one, so if anyone's interested in buying a midgrade Jumbo 66, PM me!
  5. I bet most, if not all, of us on the GA board read Burroughs as a kid. I, too, loved those paperback reprints with the Frazetta covers. I reread "A Princess of Mars" about six or seven years ago. It doesn't have the same appeal it had when I was a kid, but I still enjoyed it. It's non-stop slam-bang action.
  6. Batman and Robin's Adventures on LSD One-Shot from 1948?
  7. You should see the interior on that one! It's amazing what you can do with a rope, a stake and a bamboo shoot. Oh, and a girl. Scans! We demand scans!
  8. 'Tec 19. I'm a DC guy and it's a Mile High.
  9. More Fun for me - Blue Label + Church copy.
  10. Dell published A LOT of books. They probably got into that list from sheer quantity. I bet they top the list of Gerber 4s and 5s also.
  11. What he said. Except for loving the Marvel Annuals thing.
  12. Based on the comments about the restoration, I'll take the 'Tec 1 for two reasons: 1. I would love to own a copy of that book; and 2. So I could crack it and read the Slam Bradley story.
  13. Hmmm... Hitler whacking v. eel biting. I'll go with Cap -- big key and a WWII cover.
  14. The latest arrival to the tiki hut: As pleased as I am to get a copy of this book, I am more pleased to commend Flying Donut for being an all-around mensch and NOT bidding on this book once I expressed interest in it. He's now on the tiki hut short list for "premium liquor only."
  15. Action 1 so I can crack it and read the Zatara story.
  16. Darn. That list at the bottom looks like my want list!
  17. DC recently released a Best of the Spirit trade paperback. Fifteen bux. Go buy it. NOW. Then read it. You won't regret it.
  18. Archie 1 over Suspense 3. Archie 1 v. Tec 31 is a coin flip.
  19. Archie 1. Veronica Betty :cloud9: Plus, it would leave the 'Tec for Ronaldo.
  20. Only ever owned 1 MH I only have 2, but hope to have at least one more soon I only have zero. You're in good company. That's my MH count also.
