Check your spam folder. For whatever reason all Skybound emails go to my spam folder, I knew it so I check it often enough. If you created a skybound account you can check there as well by logging into the store and going to your orders it will show as either fulfilled or unfulfilled.

Jetpack's last Bad Idea updates on their site - It appears they are still allowing "pre-orders" of Tankers #1 and Eniac #2 though. On each individual page it states depending on when order is placed and supply available it could be a N1P if that is all they have to provide.

air has moisture, you do not want to create a sealed chamber where condensation may occur due to temperature/pressure changes the properties of paper are also relevant I believe but beyond my pay grade here Bird is spot on. You do not want it to be air tight because of this, as well as the paper will give off gases as it ages. This is a standard part of time, it is essentially decomposing. While the slabbing slows it, it will not completely halt the process. If you trapped the gases the paper is releasing in with the book it would speed up the decomposition, if I am off on this and someone has a better reason feel free to correct me (but this is my understanding). So instead the slab allows for the gases to be released.

I have found a really good shop to order my Bad Idea books from, now the pin fiasco that is a whole other level of crazy. People get burned easily and not getting what they want is one way. "Trying" to prevent mass flipping is all this seems. But in a way it also seems like forced demand. I cannot get in my car and drive up to a LCS and get a copy of anything Bad Idea (within reason). I have to instead rely on a shop a thousand+ miles away. Does that bother me? Absolutely. But I have found a amicable way around it and I have nothing but great things to say about this shop and how they are handling me, the little few book order I am. The FP/NFP only happened thus far with Eniac #1, my understanding it was due to the gloss coating and how long it took to cure. They had what they printed of 1P ready to go but it didn't meet their demand. So the N1P that were also ready were combined and shipped together to attempt to meet some similarity of demand.

While I agree, the company made rules and they will absolutely enforce them. With that proper review will need to be done. I know they booted at least 1 store for up charging for Eniac #1 1st printings on release.
