  1. I am working on a mostly Bronze Age(small amount of Silver) high grade DC & Marvel thread for this week, in the meantime I aim to post an Iron Man thread this afternoon, an incomplete 109-148 run.
  2. I think you have a line on every nice BA book in Massachusetts sometimes Haven't you seen nik's Overstreet Price Guide ad? He'll pay more than anybody!
  3. Above GPA for overgraded drek? Get to work Dork! Waiting for the damn annual fire detection check. What's to detect? If it's really hot and you see smoke......there's probably a fire. What if I decide to go on a bender like you do nightly? Just because you're more responsible now due to Stella doesn't mean you can mindwipe away your past. No, but the blackouts help.
  4. Got some nice solid mid 50s DC 10 centers in the Forum Only section, check 'em out HERE! Issues ranging between Action Comics #211-238, Adventure Comics 219-224, Batman #97-114, Detective Comics #226-251, Superman #97-106, World's Finest #80-82 plus a couple of others!
  5. Oooooookay! The votes have spoken! I will be starting the post at crack o'clock! (approx 5 minutes).
  6. I have a lot of 30+ solid mid 1950s 10 cent DCs that I was going to list this evening before I got reminded that it is my anniversary today, so the post will be bumped up to this afternoon. Any preference of start time?
  7. Captain America #8. What other pre-1945 comics have double-page splashes? Well if that wasn't the perfect lead-in.... America's Greatest #2 May 1942 Ok, your Cap has much nicer pages!
  8. If one box left the train station and traveled east at 50 mph and the other box left the train station traveling west at 75 mph, what would be the insurance surcharge?
  9. I just posted a WTB list for some covers, misc pieces I am looking for, please let me know if you have anything available! WTB LINK
  10. Good evening! I have a few GA books listed exclusively on the boards, books include Action Comics #36 Green Lantern #1 Coverless Superman #18 & #25 maybe more! Linkarooskie!
  11. Talk about cost prohibitive, and you can't take it out to read!
  12. Close, but I was probable using a Big Wheel.
  13. Yes, if I recall correctly Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" was plainng in the background as I plotted my way out. (so what if the song came out 10 years later?)
  14. You may have to fork this one over, it's the closest I've seen to 4/17/66.
  15. Congrats on the 1000 post & one year anniversary! The eyes made me think Quality Comics, the word "balloon" even more so, but I ahve to admit my first thought was a Plastic Man cover.
  16. Now here comes the "logic" argument telling us all about how we should exercise "caution" and "common sense" and "deal with know forum members" and "ask questions". Man, what is this word coming to? Before you know it I'll have to start looking both ways before I cross the street. After you get hit by the car please don't say anything that includes "the wrong side of right".
  17. Answers were: 1. The Jackson Twins (official answer), added were Gil Thorpe and Robert Crumb 2 - Poteet Canyon 3 - Grayson 4 - Clark Kent 5 - Moon Mullins 6 - WHIZ = Billy Batson and WGBS-TV = Clark Kent And I owe a massive apology to Jack, I just read the rules from the first page, thought this was a free-posting quiz thread, and didn't mean to step on his toes!
