  1. Poor folk do not typically have collections as awesome as yours one nice set display of books, spread the love around Just seeing this thread for the first time, and this pic is incredible. Congrats!
  2. Beautiful Leroy! Looks like a VG +1 This book does present VG. There must be dome hidden defects we are missing. Oh...just caught spine split. CGC ceiling grade is 1.8 for completely split spine. I will take any spine split 1.8 that looks like that all day long. it's a good defect to have when you can get an otherwise nicer book for a discount. And in the slab, it really doesn't make a difference +1 I love this type of book.
  3. Bat 1 is at the top of my wish list right now.
  4. I want a pony! Feel free to stop spamming the boards any time now. That's what the WTB forum is for (and one post will do, thanks).
  5. None of that would bother me in the slightest. Simply stunning books. Very jealous of your 31!
  6. restored or unrestored? beautiful books!
  7. Wow - all the colors of the rainbow! That blue 1.0 displays great for the grade. Very nice!
  8. I'm still waiting for one book to arrive (hopefully today)! Then you'll get your sig line.
  9. Scratch one more off the list - 4 Bat covers down, 3 to go! Getting closer!
  10. I like you 0.5 more Hoarder has TWO Tec 31s...? Well, now - that's just greedy (and true to his name)!
  11. Thanks for the link, Keith! Hadn't seen that thread before. Definitely needs to be resuscitated!
  12. I think this is a great idea. I bet it also results in some really great books - books that are too rare for their own "CLUB" threads, etc.
  13. I just ordered full runs of both (and I'm currently working my way through Planetary a second time). Ellis was at the top of his game at the time, and these three titles along with Transmetropolitan are all among my absolute favorite series.
  14. Love the new name, Jeff! (thumbs u Court!!!!!! Hoping to see you and Brian and Cullen at NYCC this year Ryan! I will definitely be there - working on the artist roster for that show now, and there will be some new faces in the group this year! Unfortunately, looks like Cullen and Brian might be skipping this one, though.
  15. Love the new name, Jeff! (thumbs u yeah, just don't look up the urban definition with kids in the room. Oh. Geez. I didn't need to know that about Jeff. Now I can't get rid of the mental image of Jeff assuming the "Manara Position".
  16. +1 I absolutely love this book. I think we might be witnessing the start of something special. I think I can tell when Greg was struggling with deadlines and the art is a bit rushed (most notably, in issue 6), but for the most part I really love his art. IMO, they should just slow it down and let him work at his page to deliver the best product possible. I don't mind the wait.
  17. Obviously, when something doesn't sell @ $75k for an extended period of time, the only smart thing to do is to start asking $100k!
  18. Beautiful book. But...what's a reasonable price...?
