  1. ...and a few more Fables pages...for those who aren't tired of Fables just yet. :-) PC, Beauty, Beast take over the business office Snow White and Rose Red have a heart-to-heart at the farm PC and King Cole discuss the benefits of Bluebeard's death DPS--Beast learns about the joys of being sheriff
  2. A few new Fables pages from SD... Prince Charming challenges Bluebeard to a duel... Jack against the wooden soldiers (1 of 4) Jack against the wooden soldiers (2 of 4) Jack/soldiers, 3 of 4 Jack/soldiers, 4 of 4
  3. Here are a few more Fables pages I picked up in SD... Rose Red, Snow, Frau, North Wind... ...discussing D'jinn, and their options... I love any page that has both Snow and Rose on it. Boy Blue unpacks the Witching Cloak...and we see just how much it can carry. D'jinn!
  4. OK, so my collection isn't terribly diverse (as Jonathan so eloquently pointed out with his shocked response to my actually purchasing something OTHER than Fables), but I know what I like...and so that makes shopping a bit easier. :-) Here are a few Fables pages I picked up at SDCC this past weekend... Rose Red and Snow White...and a fantastic chicken! the plot thickens...(page 1) the plot thickens, page 2... the plot thickens...page 3 great Snow White/Rose Red page...with a flashback to childhood!
  5. I don't stalk...I shmooze. Over and over and over again. Some of us just shmooze better than others. Jonathan seems to be doing quite well with Tony.
  6. Stalking? Who's stalking? He just HAPPENS to be a big fan of camping, and so often strikes out to rough it a bit...on Tony's well-manicured front lawn.
  7. Wow. Maybe it's just me, but I seriously doubt that this book will stay complete.
  8. Thanks, Mike! It was used as the main illustration for a Tool article in Future Music magazine. BTW, can't see your print...
  9. Just got this piece the other day. As a huge fan of both Tool and James Jean, this piece is a match made in heaven. :-)
  10. I agree, that Wrightson is absolutely beautiful. Fantastic gift!
  11. Wow, very cool! I would love to see a larger scan of that piece. Can't really see the detail, but you can almost sense that it's there. Love the windows!
  12. OK, that's definitely a stretch. I don't care how good the inker is, no one is capable of correcting Liefeld anatomy issues...among other things. That is, unless you just want to let the inker totally redraw the page. Speaking of which... Best.Artist.Ever.
  13. Yes, that's certainly true. Who inks Finch on Moon Knight? I think it has the same dirty, gritty feel as a lot of Liefeld's work.
  14. I really liked Finch's run on Ultimate X-Men...but ever since then, I see his art and it reminds me of Liefeld. Obviously, Finch is MUCH more talented than Liefeld, it's just a feeling I get. Strange, I know.
  15. Yeah, that's a nice page...looks older than '89. Really like the bottom left panel!
  16. Yes, this is the final cover artwork for the upcoming Fables "Arabian Nights" trade paperback (which is a wraparound cover). Secret Headquarters was a very nice store, but a bit small for the crowd that showed up. Guess that's a good thing...there was a great turnout.
  17. Picked this one up at the James Jean show in LA last night... This one is a very large 22" x 30", mixed media...and MUCH more impressive in person. Love it!
  18. Yeah, I like this idea, too...makes me wonder what I'd get... Maybe Kraven, with the heads of Rhino, The Lizard, Octopus, etc, etc...?
  19. Cool piece! (Sorry, I know nothing about the Crow, so I couldn't even guess...)
  20. Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Supergirl issues myself. Hope he does the covers, as well.
  21. going by the notation on the top of the page, I'd venture a guess that it's issue 68.
  22. Aside from the number of blatant contradictions, under what circumstances would a publisher debut characters on stamps? The whole concept is ridiculous, and the art is horrible. I don't think we have to worry about anyone being dumb enough to buy those claims...or those stamps. If anyone has that much money and that little sense, it's their own fault.
