I struggle with accurate scans/photos constantly when listing on eBay. You scan or take a photo and you get the blue perfect then the green is off. Or you get all colors and brightness correct then the next comic/card/toy is slightly off. Who has the 100% solution and I'll look into buying that setup this week. Thing is I need a setup where I'm not tweaking each picture/scan. Google Pixel is working on an issue where people of color are now able to get better or more accurate photos of themselves. Why has this technology not been around for 20 years?

1939 NEWSSTAND PIC TIME MACHINE JOURNEY INTO THE PAST
lhcomics replied to ajaxfarrell's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
Most of us have seen these vintage comic rack pictures. The pictures came from July 1948 Newsdealer publication. I currently have a copy on eBay auction here Not meaning this to be an advertisement to drive you to my auctions but this is fairly rare I believe and some of you may be looking for a copy. -
$112,500

Wonder if CGC would certify these now? Had a coverless Superman #1 missing 2 outer wraps and centerfold that they slabbed the pages back in 2016. Had them return staples to me. -

Promise Whiz #2 has the wrong back cover
lhcomics replied to catman76's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I think this is the correct back cover and the other 57 graded by CGC have the wrong back covers. This comic will sell for a fortune. -
It took me 9 months to sell off some PC comics to pay the $175K for my Bat 1 4.0 3 years ago. I got it in Jan 2019 only to see the next 2 4.0s sell in the $110K and 130K range. That was a gut punch. Now it's at a price that makes me look like a genius.

At these prices I'll never own a 3rd copy.

When this was listed on Comiclink exchange briefly for around $180K I said. Almost surprised that 2.0 hasn't sold yet. Would like to know what grader notes say. -

More golden age Daisy file covers at Clink.

I doubt the pedigree had a factor in final price but yes it went for more even with the tape. $57,600 with fees.

Nice! So this comics is now going up $4000 every day. At this rate when will it hit 1,000,000? I will sell then.
-
I'm pleased the seller got that for it. I paid $175 for mine just over 2 years ago only to watch a couple 4.0's sell in $110 and $140 range since then. Who knows what the future holds for this comic. If you have signature lines off turn it on and you can see mine. Never dreamed I would own a comic worth 1/4 million.

You are the Bat 1 CGC .5 estimation The Bat 1 3.0 with a lot of tape sold for $192,000 If Bronze and Copper Keys comics are starting to sell for insane prices it's only fitting some love is shown to the Golden Age.

I bought my back cover in Dec 2013 off eBay. I've seen the one that sells every couple years that is trimmed down to the picture but never a full back cover just by itself. Could have missed one sell since I'm not actively looking these days.
