  1. Alton, it would be nice. I really think the .5 will hit $40K
  2. If you're talking about this copy sold $22,800 on Heritage in Nov 2018 it doesn't really compare to mine and the one being offered now that have a lot better eye appeal. Not all .5 incompletes (or any CGC grade for that matter) are equal. This 2018 had tape and a big chunk out of cover.
  3. Well I've waited a long time to see a nice looking Bat 1 .5 missing back cover come to auction. Now I'll get to see what the value of mine is when I sell it in 10 years. Heritage copy on top and mine on bottom. Pretty much apples to apples comparison.
  4. Picked this up raw a couple years ago.
  5. Very nice and not a bad price. Congrats!
  6. Wonder if that's the sold price or offer was accepted? Congrats Mr. Storms!
  7. Clink has some very nice looking covers from Daisy files on this auction. Some complete covers some just front covers, Action 12, Detective 33, Adventure 44, Detective 233, Superman 123, Mystery Men 7 & Wonderworld 13. Covers
  8. It would have been a perfect companion to your 31 .5 missing back cover.
  9. Closed and thanks everyone for the kind words about this comic that is no longer mine.

  12. You flippers! I can fortunately say I still own all the ones in my signature line.
  13. Got this for my collection a few years ago. I'm not one to get a custom label but I just couldn't resist on this comic.
  14. I rarely post but when I do I like to think I add value to a thread. This time I'm not adding any value. Just wanted to get a post in.
  15. That's not the 1970 card fishbone quoted. That's the 1969 card. Way better. Congrats.
  16. Yes same page. I asked mine be slabbed with the car lifting scene be on front.
  17. These big price jumps are all practically since March. Like Fishbone said I have noticed big movement on lot of my cards that had been moving up very slowly last several years. If he has O-Pee-Chee Gretzky then yes PSA 7 are $5K but from what I can see regular PSA 7 Gretzkys are $2000 now but thats still up from $650 back in March Some of my cards average price in March and today. I subscribe to Vintage Card Prices for my data and these are not just a sale here or there but in most cases last 10+ sales. These prices are average with top price at times being 30% more. Card March 2020 Today 1979 Topps #18 Gretzky BVG 8 $940 $2160 1970 Topps #75 Lew Alcindor PSA 7 $150 $700 this sat at $150 for 6 years! 1965 Topps #122 Joe Namath PSA 6 $2800 $4550 Last sale yesterday was $5000 1989 Upper Deck #1 Griffey Jr. PSA 10 $700 $1650 1958 Topps #62 Jim Brown PSA 5 $700 $1950 1968 Topps #177 Nolan Ryan PSA 6 $600 $950 1957 Topps #95 Mantle PSA 6 $700 $1480 1955 Topps #164 Clemente PSA 4 $1200 $2200 1954 Topps #128 Aaron PSA 4 $1800 $3400 1953 Topps #1 Jackie Robinson PSA 5 $500 $1075
  18. What a coincidence. I also have 2 of this page. Mine are still stuck with all the other pages they came with originally.
  19. I first met Bob in 2003 at the Motor City promoted Chicago show in March. I had just purchased a early/mid 60's DC collection from Ringgold GA with white pages. Bob loved white pages! Each backing board was crudely stamped "Ringgold GA. Collection". He loved them so much he came to the next Indianapolis IN show I setup at and bought more. So the couple times a year we would meet at shows that collection was brought up. Such a great personality and passion for the hobby. I had PM'ed Bob over last year and a half until few months ago when he just got too sick. I was able to keep up with his decline through a mutual friend who would visit him. Bob Meadows I miss you already.
  20. Just waiting for you to include the Elvis whiskey decanter! Only 1 King of Rock and Roll!
  21. Someone explain this please. A Bat 1 CGC 2.5 Heritage auction on Sept 10 2020 sold for $102K and then resold by the make offer to owner for $132K on Sept 16. Now is available again with make an offer for $172K. Is it that easy to buy mega keys and resell without ever having Heritage send anyone the comic??? GPA only shows the $102K sale.
