Heritage has a piece of art that I will win but I'll wait until auction over before I post it here. My all time 3 favorite comics as a kid were TTA 93, 100 and Hulk KS Annual 1. I now own art from the TTA comics. Not my favorite page from 100 but I'm a happy camper.

Should it be Wilhelm books maybe I can and win back some of my comics he stole from me in the 1980's.

True but had I kept either comic it would have gone up in flames in my 1997 house fire with all my other comics.

Back around 1987 I traded Danny a New Comics 1 that would have graded VF for a Bat 1 in FA/G. At that time New Comics 1 was nowhere to be found and Bat 1 was everywhere. When I got the Bat 1 it was really a piece of restored garbage that could be called poor. When I contacted Danny to return the Bat 1 and get my comic back he was good with the return. Later that day I get a call from Steve Fishler offering me $1800 for the New Comics 1 so I accepted. I guess they worked deals together at that time.

Thanks! Johnny West and Geronimo were a big part of my childhood growing up in late 60's to early 70's. These are not my original but purchased a few years ago.

Thanks! You have a sharp eye. All the Signet Batman books came in a collection from Oklahoma 15 years ago. The 1950 edition of Johnson Smith Novelty catalog was the go to back in the day when you didn't have Spencer Gift stores around.

What better thread than a Robot Man thread to show off my Robots? My 1st Robot purchase was about 9 years ago and while I don't actively search for them if I ever buy a comic collections that has toys I always wind up buying the Robots if they have any. They're just so dang cool I can't bring myself to part with them.

Here's my thoughts. Buyer would have lost the PayPal case. If you ship it to correct address provided by PayPal even without signature as long as it shows delivered you're good. Even if delivered to wrong house by mistake. If PayPal required signature because of item value then get signature confirmation. I had such a case less than 5 months ago. $150 book showed delivered and Paypal rejected his claim. I also live in a rural area where I know by name the 2 people that work at my post office and they are always friendly and helpful. The tracking they do now is GPS monitored here also.

I started buying comics off the spinner rack around 1975. Was a Marvel fan with the Batman exception. Then Warlord came out and I was hooked on that title. Had an opportunity to buy this recently. Man I loved Mike Grell back in the day.

Yes we already have a Batman 1 club and I never started a thread when I got my .5 copy but I couldn't resist on this one. It took me 8 months to pay off and I've had it a couple months now. To save all the board detectives the work this was a 3.5 that sold on Heritage Feb 2018. I don't mind at all a book that has been dry cleaned and pressed. I bought this as a 4.0 so the buyer of the 3.5 made a little extra $ for his efforts. So which do I like better Batman 1 or Cap 1? Well I do have 2 Batman 1's.

Get the big books graded before attempting to sell.
