This would be a dream come true. A great page from sandman #8, first appearance of the older sister.
At first I thought it would sell for 50+, now I think we can be close to 100 (considering the first appearance of Lucifer on comicconnect is priced as 90 BIN).
I wish I had the money.
Spoiler alert: Franklin dies the page after.
I'm sure you know this, but just because a piece is listed at X price, even by a dealer, doesn't mean it's worth X price. While it could certainly sell for it, or close to it, it could just as easily "sell" at a far lower price or with some element of trade.
Also, that's not how you do spoilers!- John E., BCarter27 and Sideshow Bob

I wonder about people that were around when I started collecting/joined the comicart-L around 2001/2, but seem to have stopped collecting:
Ken Danker
Hugo Brache (sp)
The Mysterious Trevor Z (I think that's his/the sites name - a great collection of Mignola and Swamp Thing pieces if I remember correctly)

You can see it, and an interesting writeup about it here - https://www.instagram.com/p/CY9JPYzrphT/

Looking for the following and I have cash on hand to help you off set that recent Heritage purchase, or fund the next one!
Dale Keown Incredible HulkGeorge Perez Hulk: Future ImperfectChris Bachalo Generation XDarwyn Cooke ParkerAdam Hughes X-Men/WildCATS / Gen 13Mike Allred Untold Tales of Spider-Man '96Mike Mignola early Hellboy and pre Hellboy (Wolverine, Dr Strange/Doom, X-Force 8) -
It's also worth saying pages from Endless Nights (still looking for a page) wouldn't, generally speaking, fetch the same price as a page from the series-proper.
But yes, without seeing the page content, even knowing no Death on it, it's hard to put a value to it.

Reading through the advice thread I saw a common theme of folks feeling that their original purchases weren't what they would wish for today. Is it possible your first purchases were what you liked then and your likes changed, or did you learn something along the way that showed you your early purchases were not well informed?
There would be a lot of varied answers to this question, but for me, I didn't know what I wanted. I just found original art and bought what I could afford. It took a couple of years for me to focus more on what I really liked (specific artists, specific series, etc.) and buy that. But even then, what I didn't do that I try and do now is be more selective in what I buy. I would buy a piece, not THE piece. Not that you can always buy THE piece but you hopefully get what I mean - buy something that means something to you. If you're thinking one and done makes sense, buy the one that hits the right points for you. Maybe it is this Thor page, or maybe it's one that costs slightly more but is Thor in action, or in a quite moment.
I'm still buying the same stuff I was buying 20 years ago, price permitting. I'm not a Kirby buyer though, so while prices are high for me, they aren't Kirby high!

Not for a page with only the hand of Thor.
Agreed. This is where you run the risk of buying because it's Kirby + Thor, but it's really not a Thor page. Find a page you want and within your budget, but the best advice is to understand what you want and get the right example. Well, that is where I am after 20 years of collecting and trading up (aka fixing my mistakes).

Commissions are excluded, but don't let that stop you from signing up for one!

Normally it's just a harmless mistake - send them a polite note letting them know you just bought it and when they have a moment ask that they remove it so as not to confuse. Doing searches every so often, I'll see the same piece listed in multiple galleries so it happens often enough.

Best guess you could generously give on this is Albert did say it was a recreation (which he was quoted elsewhere as saying it was) and Donny didn't hear it/understand what it meant. Again, that's being very generous to Donny.

Does somebody have seen there how Albert was selling it ? As a recreation or as the original ?
I wasn't there, but yes, my understanding is that is exactly how Albert was offering it - as a recreation and priced as such.

You don't need to get this graded/CGCd - it's original art/one of a kind so you would just normally note any condition issues (tears, whiteout, stats, etc) when trying to sell. But yes, this is worth something. Probably north of 2k without digging in to Kelley Jones pages from Sandman without Sandman on them and their closing prices.

Ha! I sold this page (stupidly). It's worth $550 today, and I'll PayPal it to you right now to get it back.
I'll let others better reply to your question, though I know Alex Johnson has a well used write up on the pricing/looking for comps topic.
