Haven’t stumbled across anything new - if I do I will be sure to share immediately 😀 I’ve been hunting down the last few gaps in my APV collection and come across a few nice stickered specimens. I believe them to probably be much rarer than the printed ones as lots of kids would have peeled off the sticker or collectors passed over them as “flawed” copies. Granted, they could be easily replicated, but given the lack of interest, I think that i can safely assume the ones i have found in the wild are legitimate 😬 They're actually becoming some of my favorites! Sort of a niche within a niche! Ahhh! 🤷‍♂️😀 the joys of collecting comic books!!…..the nuance makes so little sense! But we love it! 😂😂

I assumed as much - totally sound reasoning - however they do fill out the gaps rather well! I am especially fond of my X-Force #2 (stickered) I came across in a collection recently - I’d given up on ever finding a salve for that particularly annoying itch! 😂😂 still there, but greatly reduced!😀

I was wondering - what’s the standing of stickered $AUS price books? Such as this one for example? I count them as part of my personal Aussie book collection as they were clearly intended to be released as such, but what’s the consensus?

Glad it’s of help! Nah - I’not game to try the back one. 😁 The front ones glue had perished a bit, so I was willing to try, but I’m pretty sure if I back I’ll just make a nice big hole in the cover. (Just to be sure thigh I’ll have a look later today 🙏) I’ve got quite a large collection of Australian books that I (inadvertently) began collecting around the age of 10 when my dad got me my first comic book while waiting for Friday night take-away at the local fish & chip shop. Fond memories spurred a love of the hunt! I’ve had a dig through my collection to see if I can fill any gaps and here’s what I came up with - not as much as I was hoping, but I hope these will tick some boxes! 👍
