  1. You say "horrible" but pretty much everyone else would say "accurate." Those of us who know how to evaluate cards before sending in are rarely surprised by the grades CSG gives.
  2. Economy order, 8 cards. Shipped: 2/9/22 Delivered: 2/10/22 Received by CSG: 2/12/22 Scheduled for Grading: 2/12/22 Grading/Encapsulating/Imaging: 2/15/22 Grading/Quality Control: 2/16/22 Quality Control/Finalized: 2/16/22 Shipped: 2/22/22 So an Economy order in 7 business days. Not too shabby.
  3. It's just a mis-cut card, not an error. It's worth essentially nothing.
  4. Please add the following cards to their respective player sets. Thank you! 5. My guess is you didn't send in any Jordan cards then, did you? 😂
  6. Sure it may be the value to him, but if no one is willing to buy it then it's not really the value of the card, is it? He may as well list it for $1,000,000. That's why the only real way to find the value is to put it out there for auction and see where it lands.
  7. You'd only get "screwed" if you think the card is worth more than the market deems that it is. Just take a look at all the BINs on eBay for cards that have been there for months or years that are so out of the ballpark that no one will ever buy them. For instance, I'm on the hunt for a card to complete a rainbow I'm working on that is numbered to 5. The last one that was sold in a PSA 10 went for $1,000. There's one listed on eBay right now for $3,500 in a BGS 9.5. It's been there for over a year, and the owner won't even listen to a reasonable offer. He thinks it's worth $3,500, but he can think that all he wants while he holds the card and not the money.
  8. What do you mean the "right" way? Realistically you have 3 options: Set your own price and hope someone pays it. If they do you'll always wonder if you could have found someone to pay more. Entertain offers, take the highest that you get. If you do that you'll always wonder if the other people offering would have paid more in a competitive environment. Put it up for auction. Anyone interested can bid up to what they think it's worth. Number 3 is the only one that gets you to what the market truly thinks is the value of the card. The only reason you wouldn't do it is if you're afraid the real value of the card is less than what you hope it is.
  9. The only answers you can get to this question are opinions. I'd say the only way to find the true value of a 1/1 card is to put it up for auction starting at $1 and see where it goes.
  10. Just had a standard order ship in 3 days. They're getting crazy fast with these orders.

  12. Rule #6: It must list specific cards with purchase prices. It is acceptable to bulk price, and/or to note that package discounts may be available, but you must list a starting price that you WILL sell for.

  14. That's how it is with all subcategories. The final grade can never be more than 1 point higher than the lowest sub grade. The most you could have hoped for with a surface grade of 4 is a 5. If they only gave it a 4.5 it probably means the surface flaw seriously impacts the visual presentation of the card.
  15. A grade of 4 on the surface isn't being harsh - that means there is some significant damage to the card's surface. You'll need to post some actual photos of the card and not just a cell phone picture of a computer monitor showing the scan.
  16. Please add to the Ozzie Albies player set: 2018 Topps Stadium Club #110 Ozzie Albies Red Foil CSG 9.5 1009150071 Thank you!
  17. 660 cards * $12 per card for bulk grading is $7,920. Add another $6,600 if you want sub-grades, which would bring the total to $14,520. Plus shipping. They won't grade the stickers. I wish I had that much cash to burn on grading junk wax cards!
  18. Please add to the Ronald Acuna Jr. player set: 2019 Topps Opening Day #51 Ronald Acuna Jr. Red Foil CSG 9.5 1013331036
  19. The grades are posted to your submission page at the time of shipping, so you can check them online if you want to know right away.
  20. I know it must be frustrating, but I'm not sure what is perplexing about the grade. The corners on the Vlad are showing obvious signs of white, and the edges are not great either. Also a one-touch is not the most protective way to ship thinner stock cards. They are usually able to move around inside the case, and that can sometimes lead to damage, especially to the edges and surface. The most secure way to ship a card is in a penny sleeve and top loader or card saver.
