Thor 249 (Mark Jewelers) - 4.5 - Obvious spine roll probably due to Mark Jewelers insert. Some crumpling on the back cover lower right side again possibly due to insert. Also a star shaped mark in the O on THOR on the front cover. Cream pages.

Thor 228 - 5.5 - Crease at the bottom of the front cover on the right hand side that goes through “THE BIRTH AND DEATH OF EGO”. Other surface impressions/dings bring grade down a bit. OW to slightly Cream pages.

Thor 212 - 7.5/8.0 - Nice glossy copy. Small corner bend top right front cover. Some spine tics. OW pages.

Thor 209 - 5.0 - Slight corner bend lower right from cover. Thumb crease/bend top middle front cover. Very slight spine roll. Foxing on both front and back covers (looks darker in scan than in hand). Printers crease back cover. OW to slightly Cream pages.

Thor 147 - 6.5 maybe slightly nicer - Some soft edges along bottom front cover. Slight corner ding bottom right front cover. Baler marks on lower part of comic. OW to slightly Cream pages.

Marvel Zombies #1 Slight waviness on cover. Slight indentation on spine.

I will start with the brief descriptions and then post the scans/photos. Marvel Zombies #1 - Front cover: a bit of waviness (right side of Spiderman - see photos) and a slight indentation on spine which I believe are both a production flaw. The waviness is not quite as bad as the photos make it look. They are not bends in the cover. Back cover: corner crunch with some surface impressions (upper right corner), otherwise very nice & clean. Marvel Zombies #1 (Variant Edition) - Nice copy. No major issues. Marvel Zombies #1 - (4th Printing) - Front cover: slight bend in book (upper right corner), small color fleck (upper left, spine). Back cover: spine tic (lower right corner). Marvel Zombies #2 - Front cover: a bit of waviness similar to issue 1.(right side of Spiderman - see photos). Back cover: no major issues. Marvel Zombies #3 - Front cover: very slight production waviness like issue 1. Back cover: no major issues. Marvel Zombies #4 - Front cover: very small 1/4” dent/bend in Angel’s wing under the M in ZOMBIES. Back cover: no major issues. What if the seller just changed the title a bit to something like: "like new (in 1952)" copy of Mad #1 (EC, 1952)(was) in VF/NM (at that time). I also think the seller needs to increase the opening bid. Add an extra zero or two, what the heck.

Nice pickup! Unexpected is definitely underrated and undervalued. Some really great covers.
