  1. How do you compare it to the other Batman movies rating wise? Include the first 4 too please
  2. Since the likely ones are taken i'll go for Batman 227
  3. Those are really cool! Been looking for a high grade #8 for years
  4. Sent one to Darren last week and that was about £5.50 1st Class Recorded (UK). (thumbs u Anyone know to the US?
  5. Guys can anyone give me a rough idea on what shipping a slab Royal Mail costs these days? I'm a little out of the loop. If possible a price including tracking for paypal within the UK, Europe, USA.
  6. Just bought a book from Marc. Quicking shipping, great packaging and timely updates on when it would go out. Couldn't have asked for more, thanks Marc.
  7. So First Class International is better bet than Priority? I used to use Priority but the price has gone up so much since i was last buying a lot in 07/08.
  8. Pretty clear what this guy is doing. Trying to get refunds when one isn't due to get free books or partial refunds to get them cheaper. Nothing more than a conman since it's obviously happened to a few people. Should be added to the HoS.
  9. Nice work Chris. Anyone know how long USPS 1st Class takes to get to the UK? Would you recommend it for a slab?
  10. I've been noticing some really slack grading recently. Goes against the forum etiquette to call someone out in their thread but
  11. Video's like this just make me want a time machine so bad
  12. UK Warrior set with the binder. Never seen that Binder anywhere else. Sold it here a few years ago because i needed the cash for a big purchase Also some beautiful Australian Batmans from the 50's/60's in high grade.
  13. Absolutely. Not crapping on the guy but was dissapointed because of who he was. However aside from the overgraded books i bought i did pick up some really cool rare stuff from him that i had never seen for sale anywhere else in high grade.
  14. Its ran by Duncan McAlpine who wrote the hard copy British PG years ago. He offered me a free subscription when he got this up and running. If I had to pay to get it I think that it would be well worth it. There are lots of articles and features to read, a lot of this is accessible for free though. I have tried to use it for a few more obsure titles that I collect and found no info, but in the main stuff is all there. I have little or no interest in comic values but use it more for Variants and cover identification, so I dont know how reflective the values are of current market. I believe that Duncan updates this daily and it is a work in progress. (thumbs u You know i read those price guides in the 90's when i was a kid and they were the best thing, i literally spent months pouring over it learning about comics. Every page, every price. I learned everything from there. 15 years later and it turns out i'm buying from McAlpine on eBay and i got so excited. The books arrived and they were overgraded. I have a feeling one might even be restored but i haven't sent it to CGC yet. Huge let down that the guy who wrote those guides and even taught me to grade didn't grade like he preached He did (maybe still does?) have some awesome stuff for sale though.
  15. I forget everything after the second pint. Wanna come over with your collection? Two pints on me. You could've phrased that better. If he forgets everything after 2 pints then with any luck he'll forget his collection here
