  1. Here are some of my favourite robot covers
  2. The Holy Bible (NLT Version)...just finished Genesis. Started on Jan 5th, hope to have it completely read by the end of 2012.
  3. I purchased three SA BRAVE AND BOLD comics #40, #52 #72 from you. Books arrived VERY quickly AND your grading is either spot on or even a tad under-graded IMO. Thanks for the books Greg, much appreciated.
  4. HHMMMMM....I can't find my scan of BATMAN #278, Monterey book
  5. Just got this one recently. The story may be corny but I've always loved this cover. Brings me back to my wee-laddy days.
  6. I listed a pile of Bronze Age BATMAN CGC 9.6's and a BATMAN 263 CGC 9.8. eBay ID is same as here.....CAMPER49
  7. whoops...turns out this 25-cent 3D purchase of mine is a reprint according to the indicia. It says 1953 but further down it lists that it's a reprint from 1997. False alarm, folks...nothing to see here, just keep moving, just keep moving...
  8. It pays to be in the right place at the right time. I found this little gem in the quarter bin at my local LCS yesterday. It's listed in the OPG as Three-Dimension Adventures (Superman) from 1953, no number. I'd give it a VF or better, spine stress lines are somewhat visible otherwise extremely flat, tight and square with white interior pages, perfect interior.
  9. I just read through this entire thread. Holy . There's always a few out there in every crowd. Anyway, to get a bit off-topic, I sold a pile of high grade B.A. BATMAN books to Brent about a year ago. He felt they were slightly over-graded and he even went so far as to explain in detail why he gave each book a specific grade along with its defect(s), no matter how slight. I agreed to refund him in full for all the books once they wre returned to me. When I got them back, I looked for each of his specific defects and there they were! I did issue the full refund back to him. I guess what I'm getting at is this was the single biggest transaction I ever had and during the entire process, Brent was very cordial and professional. I would deal with Brent any time again, especially after seeing how tough he grades. I would definitely take his word for grading and I would trust him woleheartedly. Just my two cents..
  10. Thanks! Being the 98-LB weakling in those Atlas ads as a kid, I looked up to the guy who can wield a sword and wow the wenches at the same time hence the Conan collection...
  11. I've got every CONAN comic book from every series and every REH novel. Here are thumb-nail scans of some of my comic books.
  12. I've got a pile of 120 CGC books up right now, plus some raw Bronze Age BATMAN books that require slabbing ASAP! Take a peek. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260161290297&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=016 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260161383005&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=016
  13. Ah yes. Now I remember posting that. The white duct is from our dryer on the other side of the wall. It is cleaned regularly by me so there's no risk of fire due to lint build-up. The gray pipe at the top is the duct for our central vac. Anyway, here's the origin of the Batman pics on our wall. A few years ago, Risso came out with "Batman Black and White" statues. Here's a link to the one I wanted here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...hlink:middle:us Since my LCS already sold their stock at the time, I was too late in getting one. My fiancee saw the photo of the statue I wanted in the Previews mag so while I was gone away on a business trip to the Carolinas, she hired a professional artist to come into our home and paint this Batman pic on the wall based on the Risso statue. The Bat-Mobile was just a bonus painting based on a photo she found somewhere on the net. It's a great conversation piece. Most people think it's there for my kids until I set them straight that I'm a bigger kid than my kids!
  14. hhhmmm....perhaps Hoss' site has my pics on them....
  15. This is where I store my goodies away from prying eyes!
  16. Nice book Greg! Hey, brag if you want, finding a book like that gives you bragging rights, IMHO. Here's my JLA books, my #111 is missing, though. Can't figure out why.
