$5k?
I would go to the premiere and take a steaming dump on the red carpet.

It was how Deadline was able to determine the $60M revenue before Disney announced it. FWIW
no wonder it bombed, they went in expecting black widow but got white widow instead.

I think the buyer had a good look at the spine which is split at the bottom and looks terrible all the way up.

people don't go to movies because they don't release movies
they don't release movies because people don't go to movies
bit of a catch-22 going on
the longer it goes on, the less chance it will ever recover

It's always the subs. Same with Fedex. They could charge a premium for 'no sub days' delivery, I would pay it.

Been waiting a bit to see more FH come in before commenting, but the colors are most Promise FH books have been pretty disappointing. I wonder if whatever region the collection was in tended to get books from later in the printing process when they were faded and running out of inks like this sad sad 9.2.
And here's a good one that recently sold on Heritage for a lousy $126. Watch the Promise bile copy go for $3k or $5k or...

Is the publisher open to legal action for printing such absurdly inaccurate numbers?

Isn't Larson one of the top pedigrees? That is, a pedigree that gets a big premium over same grade non-pedigree copies.
Could that not push it to around the 8.5 Action 1, $3.25 million, or better?

What's the giveaway?
It looks plastic and waxy dull, like movie CGI.

Hi everyone...
Recently purchased a home that needs a lot of work, so it's time to dump the collection. Most are CGC keys, but I have a handful of raws that I could use a hand grading and will be posting them over the next few days. Please forgive the cropped interior scans, I'm not trying to hide anything but almost all of them came out that way, sorry.
I've read the PGM guidelines and noticed it suggests a very small scan size, with the option to link to larger scans. Is this still the case?
Thank you so much for helping!
Continuing with Jungle Comics 101.
no, you can post the full size scans

If Voldy 9.8s were readily transferrable to CGC 9.8s, they wouldn't sell at a discount.

The bigger problem book that I will mention had a married wrap, spine split seals, small piece re-attached to the cover and cover reinforcement. This was graded and put (incorrectly) into a Restored A-1 level slab with a single notation of "cover reinforced". No mention of any of the other work - including the married wrap. This is not a slight oversight - this is completely unacceptable coming from a company that's job it is to accurately assess and grade the condition of these books.
Was the small piece no larger than two bindery chips? If not, it doesn't meet the quantity scale = 1 rule.
Was going to the movies in the 80's different then it is now?

sheesh I couldn't get in to R movies in the 80s
also couldn't buy Warren mags
had to have someone older go in then open the emergency exit door
I think Wolfen (1981) was the first R film I saw using the exit door strategy
