  1. What about Batman who laughs? There was a whole thread about it.
  2. I have some nice books (I will post one later today) that sadly have some dust shadow. I was wondering which grade allows for that (either according to overstreet or cgc standards). Let's take this example here, assuming the back doesn't have a worsening defect, what grade would this get and is that grade mainly due to the dust shadow? Thanks.
  3. Dude, that means you might now have a good sample of McFarlane's DNA, and vacuum sealed too!
  4. sorry to revive this, but I was watching a video about the different grading standards between companies and the difference with PGX was immense compared to the other two companies. It made me laugh and reminded me of this.
  5. I have some books that seem to have very few flaws for the grade they got. Granted, it's not the easiest to make out with the glare. I am thinking of removing them from their slabs, sending them for a press and to be graded/slabbed again. Now, what is the best approach to this, do I remove them from the slab myself before sending them for a press or should I leave that to the people pressing them? Is it easy to remove a comic from a slab, I never tried to before. Any advice is welcome.
  6. Well there were no colour breaks so I can see how an 8.0 or so (i would have saud 9.0 initially) would become high grade after a press.
  7. That alone proves that the whole 9.4, 9.6, 9.8 grade distinction is practically a sham.
  8. I'd say 25$ at most since it's missing the main story. Could sell less in an auction.
  9. There's a rather obvious defect with the corner. Not saying it couldn't be a 9.8, but I would not at all see it as a given. There is such little difference between a 9.4, 9.6 and 9.8 on moderns that unless your book looks immaculate (which this one doesn't) it could land on either of those depending on how that corner is interpreted.
  10. That would allow the bottom left corner and what I'm assuming is a production defect at the bottom edge?
  11. Thinking of getting this, but wondering about the grade (I am kind of weak at assessing high grade books properly). Assuming there is nothing worse in the back, which grade would this comics get? Is this better than a 9.0?

  13. I am myself reorienting all my funds towards Mac Raboy at the moment. I like Schomburg a lot, but it feels too obvious to me. In your face is a good way to put it. Still great, but not my favourite.
  14. Awesome, congrats on that! I too got all the new gods issues I needed while prices were still low.
  15. It is an obvious answer, no green means the Kirby signature must have been witnessed and thus Time Travel EXISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
