Just out of curiosity I pulled out the books from last month and none of them had labels either. I wonder if they put the labels on the book at the point of shipment, rather than when they take possession of them. They're back or I'm special. All 3 books I just received from the early October auction have them.

Keep it down, I don't have one yet.

A color to designate pedigrees seems like a fine idea, but the color choice is a terrifically poor one both conceptually and aesthetically.

Well, one reason may be if the bulk of the books are common 80s - 90s books, after the currently hot books are sold, you could be in for a long, slow slog trying to sell the rest.

So the date a member joined is now only visible in the member's profile? Did I miss the memo on this? What's the rationale?

Revat raises good points. I would like to reiterate that the Boards are not ebay, your books won’t get as many eyes. I do like selling here, but many times I’ve had no bites and then quickly sold the books at higher prices on ebay. Be prepared for lowballers, and lowballers with sob stories. Best to think of the marketplace place as an additional venue for selling as opposed to an all-out alternative to ebay. Finally, while I’d prefer not to pay it, 10% in fees is pretty minuscule to get your goods in front of thousands of potential buyers. You’re not likely to find a source to consign books for less than that. What kind of books are you selling? Do you have anything up on ebay right now?
