  1. I would say this has move value and “fee for a top 30 book compared to some on the list.
  2. There are ways to get imperfections out of books without clamping the life out of them.

  6. Yes, but in this case it looks like part of the crease broke color (could be a light artifact in the Picture) but the actual crease can be removed.
  7. Or the remnant of a very bad spine roll. The staple pop could have been the result of an overly aggressive attempt to remove the spine roll without a full book press or cleaning.
  8. Did you look at the back cover scan Bob? Highly doubt that book was pressed, but never say never right? This book is infamous for this defect and I have seen where the staple has popped 3-4 wraps into the book. I do agree the spine looks too sharp, but that could be from poor storage.
