  1. I have to echo everyone's sentiments about this show. I came in with a fixed budget and blew through that after buying books ifrom A-1 and Jamie Graham. I am super stoked for next year. I missed out on all the get togethers, as I still have no energy from the residual effects of the flu bug I picked up a few weeks ago. Major Kudos to the following dealers as they had a great selection and were easy to work with. Brian Peets Jamie Graham Ron Murry Harley Yee Phil Schaeffer Allan Bahr Bill Cioric Dan from hockey as his last name escapes me. And Terry for putting on another great show. Some of the purchases I made. Hulk 181 Iron Man 55 Special Marvel Edition 15 (3 copies) Iron Man 1 Batman 232 A nice incomplete starlin run of Captain Marvel from 25-34. It was missing issue 33. And a mess of moderns that were reasonably priced that included ThebKillingbJoke, Miracle Man 15, NYX 3, Captain America 217. I will say that if you were looking for Golden age there was not reason to leave this show empty handed.
  2. Sure. I'll leave now I'm going on Fiday. I'll be there Wed-Saturday.
  3. That's great - means the micro chamber paper is doing what it's supposed to do
  4. Not sure if posted already, but C-Link now has a 9.6 listed in the February auction. This may have an impact of the final price of the 9.4.
  5. With onsite grading I'm surprised no one has stepped up for pressing yet. With the exception of WWC most shows that offer on-site grading do not offer on-site pressing. After having done it for a few shows it is better to have the books pressed and prepped before the show.
  6. Based on the age, value and altered condition of the books please send them to a professional.
  7. Looks like the wolverine/ Hulk is shipping soon. I received an email that my card will be charged next week.
  8. I feel privileged that I was able to see and hold this book in person. Nicest copy I have ever held in my hands.
  9. But you swoop in like a banshee on other people's comments, often interpreting them incorrectly without forgiveness. I just wish you could see how incredibly difficult it is to deal with you on these kind of threads. Always right, always the expert, always on the high moral ground. In this thread, you were wrong. Can you admit that, of course not. Instead you were in a hurry and didn't make your thoughts clear. It's all good though. See you in the next every thread. Fixed that.
  10. Yeah that one is long gone. 2009 or 2010 IIRC
  11. TBH a book with pressable defects will sell better compared to a poorly pressed book.
  12. Like my mom always used to say, "Unasked for advice is often unwanted." The class of 06 has spoken.
  13. Now that the Chip HOS poll is over, can we start a new one on how much we enjoy unsolicited advice in how we should feel ?
  14. @ joeypost and comicdonna - Can I ask why it's relevant? So I answered the question but I still haven't received an answer as to why it was relevant to the conversation? I asked because it would clear up in my mind if you were in Chips corner because he still had some of your inventory, or you were in Chips corner because you wanted to help Chip.
  15. Around 3 weeks away. First show since October for me. Love the whole feel of this show, as it reminds me of the little NY shows I attended as a kid. Small room with nothing but dealers.
  16. I have never done a poll here so forgive my ignorance. Are they a fixed time, or can you set the time limit on them?
