  1. Not trying to be argumentative here Bob, but why would they be mistakes? If he has nothing in the book and expected the grade, and can sell if for a profit, it is not a mistake. Joey, I was actually trying to be complimentary to Greggy with a tongue in cheek, good natured ribbing thrown in. All in fun. What's the problem ? No problem Bob. Had no idea you were joking. This really was an impressive submission, I especially like that Avengers 100 in 9.8 . But you know, when it comes to Greg, you feel the need to tease a little. Seeing a near perfect sub, I noticed the one 8.0 in there and thought, ahah a chink in the armor. Most others would have presented the books leaving out that 8.0 . A sincere kudos to Greg for always listing everything. I agree. His candor is the stuff of legends.

  4. This is one of the keepers for me. I had other books graded but sold them already. I still have around 20 PF books I need to get to CGC.
  5. Were these the books you beat me to in Calgary? I didn't beat you at all. I bought them the second day after you scooped the other stuff I missed these....
  6. Might be someone looking for a cheap 1.8 example. That's pretty cheap. The bigger question is why would you possibly slab this book? Probably thought it was a color variant.
  7. Last year was the only time I attended. It poured.
  8. IMAX 3-D tickets already purchased.
  9. Legoland is in Carlsbad, about 65 miles south of Yorba Linda. Let's make sure we grab some lunch together this time around Jeff.
  10. Go to Home Depot and get an all in one painters tool. I use one and it works great.
  11. Have these at CGC right now. 001 Li'l Kids 10 2/73 Marvel Comics n/a n/a n/a 002 Li'l Pals 2 10/70 Marvel Comics n/a n/a n/a 003 Li'l Kids 7 8/72 Marvel Comics n/a n/a n/a 004 Harvey 4 8/72 Marvel Comics n/a n/a n/a
  12. Am I the only one seeing two possible instances of moisture damage in the top third of this photo? Would need a close-up shot of the bottom edge of the inside back cover.
  13. The ripples look worse than they are due to dirt accumulating in the creases where the paper fibers have broken. When gingerly cleaned and properly pressed this will look significantly better.
  14. Thanks Barton, it was purchased in Calgary I still have a few dozen PF books I picked up there I have not submitted yet. Some were nicer than this book.
  15. While you are not sure of where it came from, you should know where it is going (to be graded) as that is a sweet looking book.
