  1. You get them all together. Find out which were rejected and the grades all at once when they make it to SHIPPED status.
  2. Standard submissions received on 7/11/22 were shipped out today (had gone to grading/QC on 7//23). Standard submission received on 6/29/22 was shipped out today (had gone to grading/QC on 7/21). Economy FT submission received on 6/29/22 went to Grading/QC 7/25/
  3. Also had some movement today (Saturday); the two most recent Standard submissions received on 7/11 moved to Grading/Quality Control; had moved to GEI on 7/21 (so from GEI 7/21 to Grading/QC 7/23):
  4. Not sure if it was the true cause, but my 6/29 FT Economy books were shipped with an Express and Standard submission. Who knows anymore...
  5. 4x Fast Track EconomyDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29; Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging 7/21
  6. 2x StandardDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29; Grading/Ecapsulation/Imaging 7/19; Grading/Quality Control 7/21 This will be my second copy of Silver Surfer 4 and Fantastic Four Annual 2 coming home soon.
  7. wonderful. Great to know that TATs are to be taken with a grain of salt even for FT Economy. Guess I'm looking at September/October for my submission received on 6/29.
  8. 2x StandardDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29; Grading/Ecapsulation/Imaging 7/19
  9. happy to say I'll be attending or the first time next month! Making the trip up from So-Cal
  10. No one knows why this happens, but its become common knowledge . The "First In, First Out" policy was seemingly thrown out the window, and the explanation provided some time ago was that a new process/workflow was being implemented. This resulted in Modern submissions that were received more recently getting out the door in lightspeed time, and those that were received well before still sitting. Nobody knows, and everyone just accepts it since they get lucky every now and then.
  11. Happened to myrecent submission. Updated to Shipped on 7/11/22, but the date actually displayed under the Shipped column read 7/12/22. Tracking still provided on 7/11/22, and it did show that the carrier (FedEx) was in possession of the item on 7/11/22.
  12. thanks for this update! I think that's about 15-16 business days? I have some received on June 29th, so I'm guessing by the end of next week they should at least be in Grading/QC.
  13. New submissions, these are actually for a friend:
  14. 1x ExpressDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29; Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging 7/7; Grading/Quality Control 7/8; Shipped 7/11 Grading-wise, was close with my estimate of 5.5; 2nd copy of WWBN 32 coming back 6.0
  15. Define "smart"? Honestly, it all depends on what you are trying to achieve by purchasing it/not purchasing it. Is this staying in your personal collection as a long-term hold, are you are looking at it as an investment to strictly make money off? For reference, I paid $10K for a 2.5 around this time last year. Do I regret that purchase since prices are now sliding down? Nope. Do I care that I could have gotten a 3.5 for the same price now? Nope. Do I think you're getting a great deal considering what I paid? Yes. Do I recommend purchasing the 3.5 copy above at $10K? Yes, because why not, This is all relative. At the end of the day, I have a great looking copy of X-men 1. That's something I thought I'd never be able to say in my lifetime as a collector.
  16. 1x ExpressDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29; Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging 7/7; Grading/Quality Control 7/8 2x StandardDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/294x Fast Track EconomyDelivered 6/27; Received 6/29; Scheduled for Grading 6/29
  17. If by "check in" you mean how long it takes to show up on your account after delivery, it took my last submission about 2 business days. Keep in mind this was an "Express" submission (so box was marked).

  19. Nice grabs! Glad you were able to find something. I actually sold my copy of Megaton #3 towards the end of the show. Christian (Elveen's Comics) is a great guy. I used to hit up his backyard sales every now and then before Covid. I'm really glad he's setting up at NMS given he's become a staple of the So-Cal comic con/show scene.
  20. Sorry, but don't remember actually getting your name! I'm assuming you were the guy I've seen at the Claremont shows and now the NMS shows? Please let me know so that I can remember it!
  21. @Robot Man Thank you so much for coming out, and I appreciate you providing your feedback for everyone here to read. The DJ was something new to this second show, didn't have that the first time around. While I enjoyed the music, it did get pretty loud at times. GA books were definitely in the minority, though I see you connected with some of the few vendors that had some (Joker and Queen's Comics, and Brad at Fine/Very Fine Comics). Glad you were able to come away with something! And I hope to see you at the next one as a vendor
  22. Final bump of the week! 50+ vendors (mix of bigger dealers and private collectors), books from all eras (yes, including Golden Age), free parking, free admission, free wifi, A/C flowing, and best of all: STRICTLY COMICS! What more could you want in a comic show? I'll personally have about 10 long boxes worth of books, including $1, $5, $10, and some individually priced. I'll be offering volume discounts all day, as I'm hoping to clear some space and set up a pressing station in my work space. The more books I clear the better! If you do attend, please come by and say "Hi". My name is Aaron, and I'll be set-up as A-One's Comics. Hope to see you there!
  23. Took mine about 2-3 business days to show up on my account after it was shown as "delivered to the PO box" on the USPS website. You'll be fine.
  24. I've had this happen before too, not sure if its a shipping issue? Like they could only safely/securely fit 25 slabs per box?
