  1. Congratulations on completing your set, Shep!!! Very nice accomplishment! Andy
  2. CGC 8.0's can often be had for a song.....unless I'm watching. :insane:Sweet book, Shep! Andy

  4. Oakland SSWS 138 was a 9.2 that ended on 11.28.06. Execsec2 sold it to internetworkshop for $500. Motorcitycomics had a non-pedigree 138 in 9.6 end two days later for $1200 (which was the starting bid) to merceade. Goldust40 won some of the other SSWS Oaklands in that batch, perhaps he is the board member you are thinking of? You've either got a fantastic memory, or you've got a great record-keeping system. Andy
  5. Spelling was never my strongest asset and the Trooper hopefully knows what I meant. Smart-azz Andy.

  7. idol ,although idle is an accurate description for some people.... Andy
  8. What can I say, trooper? Fan-friggen-tastic!! May I ask how much it costs to do a signature series book with Heath signing? Andy
  9. You two want a room? Just kidding, guys. It sure is great to see the enthusiasm from true war comic fans. I've got to agree about that #90 may be the first cover appearance of Sgt. Rock. #88 just doesn't look like him. I'm re-reading the Showcase Vol. 1 of Sgt. Rock, so I'll chime in with my final thoughts a little later about the cover appearance and the origin. I've read all of these stories before, but sometimes it's tough for me to just call out what story is from what issue number. Great books, no doubt about it, all of them, in fact. (thumbs u Andy
  10. Yeah, I was watching that. Dropped out at $1700. The OFF #1 CGC 8.0 went for $1900 plus 19.5%. I was in on that bidding as well, but unfortunately it wasn't just me. Andy
  11. Where did you get that copy? Gorgeous!! Andy
  12. Hey Parkinson, I tried to do a search for you, but I couldn't find any information at all. Best of luck on your search! (thumbs u Andy
  13. mmmm...yummy. Thanks for posting those beauties!!! Andy
