There are some beautiful books showing up in this thread lately! Thanks for showing them. The #17 is one sweet looking book and the #3 is just about my favorite book from the early part of the run, aside from 4 of course.

I believe this is the only .30 cent variant that I have

An amazing group of books Trooper! All amazing covers, not to mention the cool sigs.
Congrats!

Very nice books, Mr. Moore! Congrats!

Just came in yesterday from The Resurrection! Now, I can finally replace the copy I sold to Karma23 this past winter!
I also added a copy of Avengers #1 to my collection right before I left for vacation...
While I might not be a huge Avengers fan, these were two keys that I really wanted to get into the collection!
Hey Hey Hey Forrest! Glad you were finally able to replace that #4, AND add a #1
We'll make you a full on Avengers fan before ya know it.

Here's one I remember off the top of my head

Man, that IS a beautiful cover, what great colors
So, no Heath or Severin interiors on these huh? That's a major disappointment.

I need a high grade copy of that book. It's one of my first war books. My dad took me to a comic con in New Britain, CT back in the late 70's and he bought me that book, a OAAW 242, and a couple others.
It's a great book, and a cool story Jeffro, I'll keep an eye out for a HG copy (thumbs u

While not as purdy as your books Shep, I couldn't pass on these SSWS from the LCS this weekend. Kubert on Unknown Soldier, and Enemy Ace, and a Heath Balloon Buster story to boot, pretty darn cool stuff.
-
And finally, this little bad-azz.... I just love that Bronze Age Orange, especially the contrast with the green German helmets...
I love, love, love that book
Beautiful copies all Shep, congrats!

Congrats Jason, very nice indeed!
Good luck on a comparable #4

Trade for your Startling 49?
Good guess, but no. Ended up selling the Startling and buying the book I wanted (which I haven't gotten yet). It was a couple hundred cheaper that way.
Man, what did you get for the Startling?? That was a sweet book
I had it priced at $1500, which is what it sold for.
Bought a nice early Action with some of the proceeds. I'll post it when it gets here.
Sorry, didn't mean for you to post the financial transaction..just the book you ended up getting for it
I look forward to seeing that Action
Smooth move hilljack.
That's Hillbilly..I prefer the traditional, thank you very much.

Got this one recently, closing in on completing Jim/Thor series, only about 10 books left to go.
Nice to get this one out of the way, think it presents rather well for a 3.5. Pitty about the Marvel chipping, but you gotta love an early 60's key with WHITE pages
Wow, very cool book! Congrats

Comickings, and Mickmack those are amazing pieces of work! Thanks for sharing those
