    I agree this is a 7.0 or lower. I don't think there's any rationale to submit this one. I have a spare 8.5 of this one already graded that's not worth a lot more than what went into grading it. Thought it would go several grades higher, but it got dinged for some small staple tears. Perhaps from pressing, IDK

    ☝️ this. Anecdotally, high volume books can get scrutinized more. If there's a range of grades it might get, it seems more probable that it could land at the lower end. My NM-ish book got an 8.0. I'd estimate a 9.0/9.2 & pray to the comic gods to maximize your chances.

    CGC books has 7.5 as the floor for a rust stain & 6.0 for a rusty staple with significant migration. This looks like it could be a stain from another book Either was I'd say 6.5/7.0. I think the higher

    This all depends on what the gunk is along the spine. Foxing can't be removed. If it's surface dirt, you can get this above 9.
