He actually thinks every book he owns is worth a lot more than it is. Not just the newsstands. You think with the ancient website he’d offer competitive market prices.

Nocterra has maybe the worse premise since Boof and the Bruise Crew. Hey everyone I’ve got a truck with lots of lights on it if you want to pay me to go somewhere. I bought the glow in the dark variant because it’s a glow in the dark variant. The story and premise seems very very unappealing to me.

It was available for preorder at TFAW for almost a year. They only recently took it down. I preordered it back in October through them. So it was available but it no longer is.

I didn’t know there was an ashcan but I bought two copies of each of the regular covers for issue one.

I had a beat up copy that sold for $20 and had an offer within minutes that I did end up accepting. I Don’t care for Cates period but speculators and others go nuts over his stuff.

Possible Spoilers but it appears Eddie Brock gets Captain Universes powers and is the god of light. Micronauts 8 is blowing up.

Which is why you do a tiny bit of research before dropping a hundred books on at best a $10 newsstand copy.

I really hope no ones reading bootleg copies online. If you want to read pay for it like the rest of us.

That because greedy shops buy them all up because Gleason doesn’t put any limits on them and then you see them all over eBay for ridiculous prices. It’s been pointed out to Gleason via social media but it’s less books to package up at his end. Still sad that the fans have a hard time getting them directly from him at a reasonable price.

Trying to build up their readership by limiting orders? Makes sense in the twilight zone maybe. They’ve accomplished one thing which is creating a buzz. But not in a good way. This is the hot topic on all the forums. It’s been up for preorder for a year almost and they can’t meet demands? They have the audacity to call other publishers short sighted because they want to sell as many books as possible?! Isn’t that the point in publishing a book? To sell books?!

Aren’t they in business to sell comics? Seems like they’re making it difficult just to get their product.

I think Harry Potter fans would want all of them. But love is love is the one to have.
