  7. would you believe me if I told you the letter CGC sent to the owner asked that they send it back within 14 days of the receipt of the item true story, I would have to.d them to pound sand, I’m keeping the book as is

  10. I would add, another negative is all that ink on the cover would be a bit busy the cover of X-Men 266 doesn’t exactly have a lot of open space I would think 4 signatures and 2 remarques on that cover is a bit much, but that’s just me

  13. going to be in Tempe in a few days and while I've been before and will be back I haven't had time to browse any LCS' not sure I will have time this trip but if I do or if I find time in the near future what are the best options? don't care too much for moderns other than cover buys ... would be interested in locations with good back issue selection, Marvel silver and bronze being the primary focus thanks in advance
  14. waiting for introduction of Weapon H-boy before investing
  15. in all likelihood when they crack the slab for the book to be signed they will put it in their own window bag and the talent will sign it wherever they see fit or they will send your book back to you unsigned and refund your money for not following the rules I would bet against the later
  16. no, you should not give them any more of your money
  17. book has an acetate cover on which the sig was done, paper slip probably just made its way between the cover of the book and the acetate overlay
  18. that is not CGC’s business model if you send in a book(s) for a Signature Series event they are going to slab the book(s) if you decide to crack them out later that is up to you as to your question about a sig across multiple books, it is a good question one that I considered to ask in the past … I don’t know that they have a good mechanism to have that done (and not sure I would trust it to properly be done) and if it were to be done I’m 100% sure you would still have to pay the sig/slabbing cost for each book
