  1. Director of Operational Excellence replaced by Director of Ongoing Errors
  2. they will not do the second part of your inquiry also highly doubtful you will see your Ross signed book back to you in time to get it back to CGC by 6/2
  3. you would have needed to request this on your submission form
  4. waiter there’s a hair in my soup CGC there’s a hair in my slab betting the later phrase is more common
  5. who the hell puts an AF15 on the bottom shelf??!, I’m not letting this person behind my bar in all seriousness, wouldn’t/shouldn’t that venue have video cameras?
  6. this was posted on FB within the comments regarding this week’s Miller/Janson signing Peter Reid Great to see all the recent signings completed, Miller, Janson, Layton, and Claremont. Any update on when DeFalco happens? 4h Most Relevant is selected, so some replies may have been filtered out. Author CGC Comics Peter Reid We have locked in a date for the first week of May!
  7. the later, just a catch-all generic status when received
  8. just as an aside since the OP used the comparison I can find thousands of ridiculous listings by MCS on ebay so much so that I wish there was a filter to not to be able to see their listings now I do understand that a number of their listings are on consignment and they may not have full say on the listing price (they certainly should be able to provide solid guidance). on a very positive note I have found MCS to be very conservative with their grades if you enjoy your books retaining value, you probably have MCS’s ebay listings to thanks for keeping prices high
  9. he will sign the book but it is highly unlikely CGC would ask him if he illustrated the cover this would likely be the answer CGC would give you about requesting that they add the credit notation to the label, no guarantees but worth at least trying ..... If you are are submitting a book for grading and would like the graders to notate particular key comments or first appearances, etc. you can list that on your submission. You can also notate it by adding a sticky note to the book sleeve itself. The graders will then make a determination once they review the book. All comments are at the graders' discretion.
  10. Liefeld is full of himself in other breaking news, water is still wet
  11. this is new ….. if this is the new policy going forward with JSC, another reason not to have a paid membership
  12. This is a case where I would hardly put the blame on CGC so long as they are providing a variety of markers. 90% of the time the talent signing are artists, if anyone should be aware of what does and doesn’t work/look good it is them
  13. no images or video of CCS pressing … still 50/50 that it is a fictional place/service
  14. yes, assuming you will be taping off an area (frequently with blue painters tape) where you want the sig to appear, just write on the tape ex. please sign with xxx color marker no guarantee your request will be honored but it usually is
  15. CGC is running a slab giveaway contest with AR and the image used for the slabs shows a signed on 5/29/23 date … possibly the day he is scheduled to sign
  16. spot check CGC graders to see who is wearing a D.Tracy wrist radio
  17. normal as of fairly recently I believe this is one of their stealth fixes for preventing Newton Rings, less tight seal allowing the book to shift slightly
  18. Mike thanks as always for going the extra mile … others at CGC can learn a thing or two from your efforts the fact the graders deemed my submission an 8.0, recorded no notes, and it came back to me with a cover misalignment tells me enough I need to know that CGC/CCS has little respect for their customers, the collectibles they submit, and their company’s reputation
