  1. Interesting. Could I see an ASM #1 hitting $1M? Probably not.
  2. Standard rules apply: I’ll consider offers, but first gets the book! This trumps previous negotiations unless both parties have come to an agreement, at which time I will close the book. No probation or HOS boardies allowed. I’ll be accepting PayPal, Checks, or Money Orders. Shipping is $15 for slabs within the U.S. territories only. International buyers, please inquire about shipping. No returns on CGC graded book.

  4. Yeah, they’re like $3000+ in a 9.8 and I think that’s an insane amount to pay for one. But the issue here is that these are the facsimile editions and they’re being sold as if they’re the original thing.
  5. Same. I’m currently chasing one down for myself and it’s been hell trying to find one.
  6. The CGC 9.4 All-American #16 is well over $1M but that book will never hit the market. The last sale I could find for a universal copy was a CGC 6.5 selling for $215,100 back in February of 2018. There was also an extensively restored CGC 6.0 that sold for $43,200 back in November of 2021.
  7. At least someone didn’t pay $7000 for the flakes.
  8. It would be cool to see this book come to market, but I’m sure it’s locked up in a private collection as well. So I doubt it ever will. It wouldn’t have any issue breaking $1M at all though.
  9. Is the CGC 9.6 Sensation Comics #1 you sold also private per buyer’s request? I am curious to know what it sold for since it’s the only 9.6 in existence.
  10. Thanks! I was confused as to why it didn’t post in the “This week in your collection?” thread. I then realized it ended up here.
  11. Despite some minor flaws, it’s a beautiful looking 9.0.
  12. Sounds like you have plenty of gems tucked away. What are the chances of you having an All-American #16? Asking for a friend.
  13. Can’t forget the legendary Tim Frommelt. He ran into like… what? $1 trillion dollars and saw comics as an investment. I wonder why he didn’t post the proof. He said he’d do it.
  14. I’ve heard two things regarding the Church/MH copy of AA #16. It’s now owned by Steve Borock. Rose Verzyl still has possession of it. Can anyone confirm either one?
  15. Sold Alain an ASM #129. Great guy to deal, fast and easy payment!
  16. NOT $1800! That’s a ridiculous offer to make when someone is trying to sell an ungraded FF #1. Talk about lowballing.
  17. I also don’t get how people are questioning the legitimacy of the sale when there were reputable people involved.
