  1. When the Fedex man showed up with this, I ran out to his truck!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Traded my weight in ROM, Spawn and X-Factor #1s for this: Did I get a good deal? Note: I weigh 225 lbs.
  3. To me this is one of the ultimate prehero books where the protagonist is very much a monster, but is also a great hero. There's that and I just got it and want to post it everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Thanks Dan!!!!!! (thumbs u Never thought I'd have a copy this nice.
  5. Please remove this copy from the list: Had to sell it to pay for............................................................................
  6. TTA #34 is a big favorite of mine and actually won the TTA Prehero contest from a few years back. I've had a blast collecting these books over the last 5 or so years + recommend them highly. (thumbs u
  7. Road trip!!! Lobster party @ Dan's!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Those early JIMs went for good money!! Got the TTA #10 9.0 for like $800 less than the same copy sold for within the last year or so! Underbidder on the TTA #13 9.2. That's okay as I didn't feel like shelling out $3K for it. BTW, double cover TTA #10 8.0 undercopy just freed up.
  9. Great books Dan!! Sometimes we get pleasantly surprised at those smaller cons. The ST #88 is a big time keeper!!
  10. That's a tough book in higher grade. WOW, insane copy!! Only 1 better, according to the census, in 9.0.
  11. This is so frakin freakingg cool!!! Unreal! What year did he do the recreation?
  12. Unless its a midgrade book or lower, I can't see getting that big, sloppy ol' black marker sig on anything. The book has survived from 1961 in perfect shape + now's the time to fukk it up?
  13. I always thought my copy was trimmed, I still think it is really, but seeing copies like the last couple give me slight hope. Not that I will ever slab it anyway so I wont ever find out for definite. if you wont slab it, guess you'll go through life not ever knowing Yeah, I dont let it get me down, I prefer raw books and only buy slabs when I have to, sticking this in a slab whether Blue or Purple would make no difference to me at this point. I would rather spend the cash on something else that I dont have. Its just your book is as close to mine edge wise as I have ever seen and gives me hope that it is not trimmed. .....many, many, JIM83's are cut off center....good chance it isn't trimmed. I just got this one today.....glossy and supple like a new book. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u What grade Jim? Nice!! Bob's former copy?
