+1 I bought a bunch of books from Marnin in the last 4 or 5 years, many of which are still in my collection. He'd work a little with you on price, especially if you were buying a few books. Very strict grading + several books came back from CGC higher than Marnin's grades.

Cool piece, but a lot of scribbling for that kind of coin. Yeah that's kind of how I felt 5K cool, not 15K cool!!

+1 My thoughts exactly. Difference of a half grade translates to alot of cabbage.

this really is a great cover. I love the colors on it. Its strange too but out of all the great marvel age keys i think this book has the best looking midgrade copies. When was the last time you saw an AF 15 in CGC 4.5 that looked this sharp? That is a very pretty copy. As for the AF #15, since you asked nicely (sorry for the non-Hulk #1 image)... Two great looking 4.5s!!

Well, if it's any consolation, they probably weren't really VF/NM. Yup, yesterday's VF/NM is probably today's F/VF or worse. At least that's what we're hoping!!

I say we forward these to Marvel and demand a new prehero series!! If 12 of us write them that will equal the readership on some of their current titles.
