Without the tanning, its 9.2 all day long with a shot at 9.4. Either that or Titano and Monstro got drunk and Monstro dared Titano to get an eyeball tattoo to prove how tough he is. And you know how those things go.

Been a long while since I've gotten 3 books from my 3 favorite prehero titles in one fell swoop. And I almost didn't get them either, but that's another story. The other nice part is I got all 3 books for close to what this TTA #10 alone sold for within the last year. And I was one of the underbidder's in that auction. Sometimes losing IS winning!!!!!

+1 Sharp copy + great grade range for preheros. Heck, many times 8.0s are the highest graded copies!!

Just took a quick look at the census: TOS #2- Has only 2 8.0s as top copies!! TTA #4- Has 1 9.0,9.2 and 9.4, then just 1 7.0 copy TTA #5- Has 2 9.2s and just 1 8.0 Crazy tough books, to say the least!!

Love the low numbers! I've never owned either the TOS #2 or the TTA #4. As I've said before, I think that TTA #4 may be the toughest book out of either of those "Tales of" titles (both in grade and to find a copy period). Awesome pickup! I looked at it longingly but didn't end up bidding due to lack of funds, so I am glad it went to a boardie. TOS #2 and TTA #4 are insanely difficult in high grade. Those black covers show every defect!
