Not one bit of Marvel chipping and the edges are crisp. Now, i'm posting some of my pics of YOUR Hulk 1 because your scanner blows. Enjoy it bro! I almost couldn't pack it up and ship it off to you...it is really sweet [/url] your photo makes the top edge look immaculate, while my image makes it look like it's been chewed on by a dog. In reality, it has general non color breaking bends of the overflash along the entire top edge. Beautiful copy, congrats. That's a great story of its history also, well done. Happy for you Collin! Sweet copy! Congrats! Speaking of heads...just recently grabbed this in the FS section. Love this cover! Just finished reading it and the last story "Ted's Head" was a bit disappointing. However the third story "Who Shall Judge" about a corrupt judge who gets what's coming to him, sports a nasty suicide gunshot to the head panel! Great cover by an underrated artist. Love that book. Look what happens when I start collecting a new genre, I get to see all the books that I never knew existed and are taking a fast liking to!! :cloud9:Great book, BTW!

On this cover Kirby also utilizes human facial features to create a much more compelling and scary creature than if he had just drawn a big beetle. Don't know if anyone ever asked him about this approach, clearly it works.
