  1. A lot of it depends on the artist also. Like I know for instance that even though he helped create Venom, that when you send it books for a Todd McFarlane signing, that he lists certain Venom related stuff he won't sign. Whereas Rob Liefeld created Cable, and for his upcoming signing I don't recall him saying he wouldn't sign Cable books he didn't draw. I mean he still could say no, no way to know for sure, but seems like if they are adamant about not signing particular books, they list that in the info on the signing when CGC is doing it.
  2. I have had a lot of books go thru Rich Henn, and have never had an issue. I know he is doing NYCC again this year and is great to work with. And have also used Agents of Slabs as a facilitator multiple times and they have also been great to work with.
  3. Not sure who will be manning the CGC table, but I do know that @Rich_Henn will be attending this con just facilitating mail in submissions. If that helps you any. You can email him at richhenncomics@gmail.com for more info. I have sent books in to Rich for 4-5 years now and he is great to work with and always takes care of the people sending books in to him.
  4. @Rich_Henn usually does Rhode Island Comic Con. Last year he got Vincent D'Onofrio to sign a Daredevil book for me there. Rich is great to work with.
  5. Rich Henn will be there. Have used him as a facilitator a lot and he is one of the best I have worked with. You can email him @ richhenncomics@gmail.com. Just let him know it's your first time sending with him and he can give you the info you need and also if you give him a list of names you are interested in he can give you the prices each sig would cost you. And if you talk to him and decide not to send anything in, he won't pressure you.
  6. Pics were posted online of this signing a few weeks ago I believe. I know my friend who had a few non pressed books has received them back already. All mine were pressed so they are still listed received at CCS. Which is normal as they are given a longer expected turnaround time when they are getting pressed also.
  7. Per CGC, Rich must have perfected time travel. Cause on the last 3 books CGC graded that he facilitated, two of them were signed December of 22 but CGC put them on the label and in their system as December of 23.
  8. I was able to get it to go thru last night. Thanks for the help Matt and Mike!
  9. I did a signature series entry and it worked fine. Then tried to do a mechanical error right after and got this error. I was instructed by the Signature Series team to send it back cause two of the three books I got in an order had December or 2023 as the signature dates. Was hoping to get it to FedEx this weekend. Guess that’s not happening now.
  10. When the deadline in to when the signing is varies quite a bit depending on the creator's schedule. I've had some I sent in occur within a few weeks to a month after the deadline, and I've had some take 3-6 months after the deadline to actually occur. Best thing to do on asking about dates or the question with the Clairmont signing is to email the Signature Series team directly a signatureseries@cgccomics.com. They are typically very good and fast with responses. They won't be able to give you an exact signing date, but they can usually let you know if there is a planned date as of now and when it will be. And when I've had questions about a specific submission they're great with giving me some info.
  11. You never know with Rob one way or another. But on his facebook page he runs, someone commented on hoping he was going to do a second signing cause they missed out on getting his chisled sig due to it selling out. And Rob's response was "Not gonna happen, the window is now." So take it for what it's worth, as if it goes well enough and there is demand for another one, I could see him doing another one eventually. But as of now he's talking like this will be his only one.
  12. Glad to hear it! I was told mine was done on March 28th, but since I was getting pressing I have up to 8 weeks for it to be pressed and graded. So I probably still have a while. But glad to see that they are finally moving for people!
  13. Was wondering about this signing myself as it's been a while since the deadline.
  14. Most of the time that is the case. There are rare occasions when it's a glitch in their system. But most of the time I've encountered it, it's been sold out. From what I saw, the option for Adam Hughes remarque's disappeared within 48 hours of his signing being announced. And I hadn't seen it listed since then. So the unfortunate guess is that it is sold out.
  15. Typically you have to have a witness go with you for each book and once its signed they take it back to the booth to hold til you are completely done. When you tell them all the books you have are signed and you're ready is typically when they will do the paperwork and charge you their fees and the grading fees. At least at the ones I have done grading at with CGC that seemed to be the way things operated. Could be slightly different depending on the group but I have not encountered any cons where what you are asking to be done couldn't be done.
  16. Did you put the packing slip in the box? I had one time where the private signing cards didn't print out correctly and I just sent in the packing slip with the books. I was able to contact the signature series team and they were able to print out the cards and attach them to the books when they got them. So, recommendation would be to contact the signature series team and give them your submission # and tracking number and let them know what happened. You can email them directly @ signatureseries@cgccomics.com. I have found them to be very helpful and easy to work with when there are issues or mistakes made.
  17. This unfortunately has been an issue for a while with labels not showing as available for resubmits. Though I do have to say that more often then not I have gotten the label by writing it on the packing slip as customer service told you to. Only times it hasn't worked was when I requested a retired label that they were out of. But I agree would be nice to get it fixed finally.
  18. It's still a while out, but he is currently scheduled at Heroes Con, which is in June, and @Rich_Henn, who is an amazing facilitator and easy to work with is typically at that Con.
  19. On graded books I've just sent a backer board with the packing slip and taped the cutout from the packing slip on the backer board. I think they just temporarily put the comic and the backer board into one of their window bags til after its graded again.
  20. Sal Buscema would be awesome. Just a heads up, they already announced another Frank Miller signing last week. Will be him and Klaus Janson again with the deadline being March 31st.
  21. I almost always get charged by CCS before CGC. It usually pops up right away. I’ve had the CGC charge be as soon as they check them in and have had it at times be when they complete. But it’s honestly hit or miss if I get the email about the charges. I usually just see them on my credit card statement or charges though.
  22. Oh wow. I am so sorry that happened to you. That sucks.
