  1. Yes, Nick...RIP. He always had the blazing golden age wall ads in CBG and OSPG.
  2. Very nice Jon. I have some Timelys that look much nicer that CGC still gave 3.0 when I graded them much tighter as raw books. That said, if the cover on your Pep was not detached, I'd go 5.0. As is, I'll take off a point so 4.0.
  3. It was just cheaper for Goodman to start a new teen comic using the next numerical # after AW19. The odd thing was that he went back to AW21. So you have an odd teen comic in between a run of Timely superheroes books and the #21. Wild, wild west of comics.
  4. 4.5 for me. Just a little bit more spine wear for me. Decent dark green boxes on that copy.
  5. Yes pretty solid. I’m an old school grader. I took a little off due to the staining on the BC. Most dealers would call this 4.0 or even 4.5. I’m inclined to go 3.5 without seeing it in hand.
  6. looks 2.0 (glue or no glue) barring any large spine splits.
  7. agreed, and I think the final price was lower than expected.
  8. 6.0 but the stains drop it to a 5.0 for me.
  9. what did Weiss Auctions grade it at raw?
  10. pretty big defect to still garner a 5.0 IMO even if it is a Tec 29. Regardless, it was worth $95k to someone and is still a nice book to own.
  11. What's your favorite issue of FF from 1-13, and why do you like it?
  12. since the story is affected, it's a POOR (.5). Otherwise, has 2.0-2.5 eye appeal.
  13. 4.5, maybe 5.0. There's enough small wear upper BC and on the BC spine to keep it short of mid grade.
