  1. nice couch Russ! Oh, and the Timely aint half bad either
  2. Bob, is this thread decreasing your work productivity?
  3. I'll say 1.5 -1.8 on the A1 and 2.5 on the JIM 83 from what I can see...
  4. Bob, what made you select the cute pig as your avatar on these boards?
  5. I remember selling a nice coverless for $1k in 2014
  6. Bob inserted "1st round shield" (Cap 2) and "1st time the name Superman appeared on a comic cover" (Action 7) from my past reports. Now, perhaps a slew of others had requested those particular ones as well, but the guide was changed. It's worth another shot. Lois is wearing the same yellow dress on the interior Action 27 story as well.
  7. I'm guessing 27 was overlooked for many years by Overstreet (and now CGC) as the first LL cover. I'll see if I can convince Bob otherwise in next year's report.
  8. I am convinced that is Lois Lane (brunette, yellow dress) on the front cover of Action 27.
  9. I also prefer 24 over 14. I consider Ad 210 Silver since it was the first month of the CCA.
  10. David pays fast and is on point. We did a very large transaction in 2012 which was completed with no problems and smooth communication
  11. My standards haven't changed Jon . I have always graded missing non story pages as 1.0s if the book was generally nicer. This copy has decent eye appeal outside of the tape. Cgc has a different opinion.
  12. 1.0 blue brittle if the missing pages are non story. .5 blue brittle if the missing pages are story pages.
  13. As a pure collector in my early days, marvel chipping never bothered me too much. I was just happy to get a copy. Now, with the big price points, of course it’s wiser for better resale value to select non chipped copies.
